Namaskaram Swamy

Kindly let us know on –

1. Baraniashramam. – Who will give, who can get etc.
2. Can we leave our clothes after taking holy bath in divine rivers. Because in Pushkar, I saw some doing that.

Yours sincerely

Swami.,bharnayasam is practiced by the vadakalai sect of sri vaishnavam.Bharanyasam is ritual to do sharanagathi. In thenkalai there is no separate ritual for sharanagathi .In thenkalai,if one did pancha samskaram, then he would become a prasanna.Bharnyasam would be done by our acharya to us.

Yes but bharanyasam should be sure way of researving seat in Sri Vaikuntam as samAshrayaNam is a practice in Vadakalai too.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Namaskaram Bhakthai & Swami’s,

With Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Aasirvadham and BhagavAta Abhimaanam, Adiyen was able to locate a past TRUE detailed answer from the below thread, which was pulled from Velukkudi Swami’s Upanyasam regarding baranyasam or pancha Samsaram or samasrsyanam.

https://www.kinchit.org/dharma-sandeha/thread/bharanyasam-vs-pancha-samskaram/

Adiyen will copy paste in short from that link.

****************************************

In Thenkalai, during “Ramanuaja Sambhandham” (Pancha Samskaram plus Prapatthi /Nyasam is done at same time) with “Achrya Nishtai”, but outside we say using one word pancha samskaram, but both are done at same time.

In Vadakalai, during “Ramanuja Sambhandham”, Pancha samskram and Prapatthi (Nyasam) are done at two different separate times depending up on the shisyas interest.

So, Thenkalai or Vadakalai, doesn’t matter, as long we understand (Either present Acharyas and their Shisyas) that by doing Bharanyasam or Pancha Samskaram, we get “RAMANUJA SAMBHANDHAM, then their ATHMA UJJIVANAM occurs for SriVaikunta Praaptthi in Same Janma.

‘G’ swami, Adiyen believe, there is a typo error as “…….in this chat there is no bhakthi……”. Adiyen believe what devareer meant is “…. there is no bhakthai. There are only bhaktans” correct?, If so below is response.

Either way, adiyen believe, it doesn’t matter, ANSWER is important as long as it is addressed to devotees in a Respectful way.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Namaskaram ‘G’ Swami,

Adiyen’s understanding was “Sri Hari” is Bhakthai named “Choodamani” looking at past threads as below example

https://www.kinchit.org/dharma-sandeha/thread/good-qualities-for-human/

So adiyen addressed as Bhakthai (for ‘Sri Hari’) and Swami’s (for ‘G & Vikram’).

But we can also call “Bhaktans” for all genders, if that’s the preference as devareer said above.
