Dear Swami,

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namah! Sri Sriranga Narayana Jeeyar Swamigale Saranam!

Velukudi Swamigal Thiruvadigale Saranam!

With reference to adiyen’s small and limited knowledge, haven’t heard anything from Swami’s lectures or any other Sri Vaishnava scriptures like this. As Sri Ramanujarcharya’s, Saranagathy Gadyam confirms, just pure desire and surrender is all that is required to attain Moksha and as confirmed by Velukkudi Swami in many lectures, even that is also only by the mercy of Sriman Narayana. Even Andaal confirms in “Koodarai Vellum” Pasuram that with Lord’s mercy we get to enjoy all his wonderful creations as his Prasadam. So no suffering in our sampradaya process.

@Velukkudi Swami and other senior Bhagavathaas: Please pardon adiyen for any wrong saying.

Adiyen,

Swami Thiruvadikale Saranam!

From Bhaghavatha Puranam upanyasam, if I recollect correctly, Parikshit decides to fast and die facing North after the curse.

So, the above is a reference.

Please pardon adiyen for any wrong reference.

Also there is a reference saying “Parikshit handed over all his responsibilities and foregone kingdom”

How can one forego all responsibility to take another life ? What about the promises done on fire during marriage?

What rights do we have to torture (seemingly) our body? Why fast unto death?

Speaking about Jainism they showcase themselves as “ahimsavadhis” non violent community but their practice is full of himsa “plucking hair one by one” , “fasting on to death”

Therefore may be just like we had Mangalya Dharanam by a later Rishi for our Hindu marriage they might have undergone some changes which is not directly mentioned in their scriptures

Almost every pawn broker shop has himsa/ violence. If one comes to keep.their belonging how can one pay interest and reclaim the belonging or asset?

Those poor people lose their things but yet you see “free water” donation stall in front of Jain temples.

Isn’t it a controversy? If you don’t practice what you preach then how come such a lifestyle adhere to some norm?
