Srimathey Ramanujaya Namaha!! Swamy, Where is Thiruparkadal located?

Is this located in each Andam as in Satya logham etc.? or only one Thiruparkadal for the whole Leela vibhoothi?

I can understand that if Thiruparkadal Vaibhavam is meant for Devars (to protect them) then it shall be in each Andam as Devar logham/Satya logam etc is in each Andam.

I am listening to Sri Velukkudi Renganathan swamy’s Nyayam, Meemamsai and Vedantham discourses. If you have enrolled for this course too, please listen to Chapter 16 in Vedantham section (published last Saturday). This lesson itself is dedicated to your question only.

on April 24, 2021

All the members would not have enrolled for the course. Hence, for the benefit of all the members it would be better if the extract can be posted if possible, though it is time consuming and need effort.

Namaskaram srinivasan swamy, yes thiruparkadal is located in sathyalokham. Sathyalokham consists of brahma , visnu’s thiruparkadal and shiva’s mount kailash.
Yes swamy, this is located on each andam. So, leela vibhuti consists of inumberable thiruparkadal.

Sriamte Ramanujaya namha.

Sundarjan swamy is there an evidence for this statement (from any scripture)

“Sathyalokham consists of brahma , visnu’s thiruparkadal and shiva’s mount kailash.”

Namaskaram to enpanifan swamy,

Sri Velukkudi Ranganathan swamy’s Vedanta Sastram Lesson 16: Creation of the Andam , he mentioned as:
Satya Loka – Residence of Brahma,Vishnu and Rudra, and the devotees of theirs.48 crore Yojanas high .
Under the heading – The Worlds Above.

on April 25, 2021

Srimate Ramanujaye Namaha ,

Dhanyosmi will look into this reference , i am a bit lagging in the course for past 2 weeks.

I am not sure but i assume Lord Vishnu may have a place of residence in satya loka as in like a guest house when he visits there? Like how we have prime ministers bungalow in cities other than Delhi..is that how it is..not sure…

Secondly Rudras are 11 in number and are expansions of Lord shiva..so they may be in satya loka as per the reference you have quoted..but i am not yet clear of the exact geography of kailaayam (mount kailash)

But this second aspect is not the focus of this thread..”which is to discuss the location of thirupaarkadal”

Adiyen. As per my understanding of the course by Velukkudi Ranganathan swamy, paarkadal is located in Bhu: There are 7 dweepams and 7 seas, each surrounding the other. We are in the center island Jambu dweepam surrounded by salt water. Next is plaksha surrounded by sugarcane juice sea. The 6th dweepam is shaka dweepam surrounded by milk sea (paarkadal).

on April 25, 2021

Adiyen,.
Yes, Ramanujadhasi bhagavarha,
It is located in “X”axis.
Visnu logham in Satya logham is different. That is for those who follow Maha Vushnu and yet to get SriVaikuntha praprhi.

Ramanuja Dhasan.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Namaskaram All BhagavatA’s,

In the past, Adiyen quoted with Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Ammangaar Abhimaanam and Velukkudi Sri Krishnan Swami’s Aasirvadham in the below thread about inhabitants of each of the 14 lokas in vertical Z-axis and Each loka has X-Y horizontal plane of which center loka is Bhu loka, and Yes it is true the bhu loka has 7 dweepams and and 7 oceans concentric to the center Meru mountain, of which there is an Ocean full of Milk, but that is not Thirupaar Kadal where SriVishnu is reclining. HE is reclining in Sathya Loka as per below References.

There are 8 separate KulaParvathams (mountains) in circular pattern of center Jambu dweepam which draws the border between each of the 8 Varshes to the main Center Ilavrita Varshe/kante. “Himalayam mountain” is the one which makes the border between Ilavritha Varshe & Bharata Varshe (where Earth is there), not the Himalaya in this Earth, since each Mounatin is 2000 yojanas (20,000 miles) wide. And Shiva is not reciding in this Himalaya in Bhuloka which is outside Earth (Bhoomi) but is same plane of Bhu loka. He is residing in Sathya Loka.

*****************

Basically, after every 12hrs of Brahma’s day  (=1000 chatur Yugas = 432,00,00,000 manushya years), the 1st three Lokas in Vertical Z-axis above starting with Bhu loka, the next above Bhuvaha loka, and 3rd over Suvaha loka will be SET TO FIRE (COVERED WITH AGNI) called Aathyanthika Pralayam.

During this time, due to Agni’s heat, the residents in Bhuvaha loka (like Gandharvas etc…) and residents in Suvaha loka (like Stars, other Grahas/planets etc…), move towards the 4th  Mahar loka where Indra and his gang reside.

If Thirupaarkadal and Himalaya is in Bhu loka, then where will Sri Vishnu and Shiva go to reside when 12 hrs of Brahma’s day is over Evertime?, when Bhu loka is set to fire?, so below link has the answer with proper reference as below.

PS: Due to some devotees attachment towards devatas, they couldn’t understand the past answer from the VishistaAdvaita Acharya Grantham reference. But other devotees who don’t have such attachments to devatas, understood the answer in the below link.

Also “vedadatabase” online books are a great source for beginners, but every translation in it may or maynot be same meanings as mentioned in the Crown Sampradhayam “Vishista Advaita” Poorvacharyas Granthams. So Adiyen follow and pulled the information from the core Vishista Advaita reference books as below mentioned as these tell the Swapadesha Arthams (deep meanings) which maynot be available in online sources.

* Yathindra Mata Deepika,

* Sri Vishnu Puranam (Amsam 2, Adhyayam 1-12)

*******************

Yes, as ‘G’ Swami (Sundara Ramanuja Dasan) mentioned is correct about Thirupaarkadal in Sathya Loka and Yes as Ramanuja Daasi BhagavatA’s reference about dweepas and oceans description is correct, but residence of Vyuha Vasudevan is in Sathya Loka.

@ElayaAlwar swami – In the Nyayam, Meemsai and Vedantham course, Sri Velukkudi Renganathan swany describes Parkadal as the 6th Dweepam in Bhu Loka and there will be 1 such Parkadal in each Andam. According to him, Satya Loka has Vishnu Loka along with Brahma Loka and Siva Loka. Even Satya Loka is 1 per Andam.

Srimate Ramanaujaye Namaha,

@ntgk Swamy, Vishnu loka is said to be permanent and eternal, in that case if it is in satya loka how do we understand this? As at end of Brahma’s life Satya loka will also be dissolved.

I suppose the eternal vaikunta planets are eternal , that is clear, but then who resides in this Vishnu loka and what happens to them after end of satya loka.. , who resides in this temporary Vishnu loka and why not in the permanent vaikunta planets?

@enpanifan swamy, In NMV, Velukkudi Sri Renganatha swamy mentions that Vushnu loka in Satya loka is different from Sri Vaikuntam.

on May 3, 2021

Yes swamy, that is why i am wondering, who stays in this Vishnu loka, what happens to them after the end of satya loka?

Srimathey Ramanaujaye Namaha,

Sri Ranganathan swamy mentions in the Nyayam, Meemsai and Vedantham course video that Parkadal is the one wherein the Devars and Asurars churned  to get the “Amirtha kalasam” .

Kindly listen to it..

Adiyen,

Ramanujadhasan
