In audio 1438 you had discussed on possible reasons for why there is more crowd of devotees in northindian temples compared to south india temples.

Is the number of temples in each town or state more high in southindia compared to north india..so the devotee crowd gets split to local temples in south india?

Also in south india most houses have strict following of maintaining a house altar..so they may tend to worship there and also there is time involved in serving the deities at home..so the frequency of temple visit may be lower..but in north india they may have simple home worship and regular visit to temple. Can this be also another possible reason?
