Namaskaram,
Some people claim themselves that they are incarnation of God (eg. Sathya sai baba). They do miracles and make people believe that they are God/God man. My in laws worship this God man and I am not interested and I dont believe him. I strongly believe that there is no other God than Sriman Narayana Moorthy

When these (Self-proclaimed God men news ,,,)are surfacing. only one thing strikes my mind:

Hanuman: Could you point out any Demi god that is most powerful than Hanuman?? But see the humbleness of our Hanuman. He is always at the feet of Sri Ram and never ups his head in front of Bhaghawan. He realises and always claims that he is the servant of Bhaghawan.

If the ultimate Hanuman realises this and keeps so humble then how can others dare to self-proclaim??

I just laugh at it (thinking of their ignorance…) that’s all…..

However, every Jeeva raasi/ Aathma is part of Bhaghawan (Sareeram to Bhaghawan) and hence could claim in that sense… but again this applies to all and hence ALL can claim God??

Adiyean Ramanuja Dhasan!

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namah! Sri Sriranga Narayana Jeeyar Swamigale Saranam!

In Bhagavatham Canto 5, Chapter 4, Verse 1, Suka Brahmam details the symptoms of the Lord who incarnated as Lord Rshba Deva

atha ha tam utpattyaivābhivyajyamāna-bhagaval-lakṣaṇaṁ sāmyopaśama-vairāgyaiśvarya-mahā-vibhūtibhir anudinam edhamānānubhāvaṁ prakṛtayaḥ prajā brāhmaṇā devatāś cāvani-tala-samavanāyātitarāṁ jagṛdhuḥ.

Krishna or Narayana is the Supreme Lord Himself in His complete form as stated in Bhagavatham (1.3.28)

ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam indrāri-vyākulaṁ lokaṁ mṛḍayanti yuge yuge

Every Avatararam (even the channa avatars like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Ref: 11.5.32) and Alwars / Acharyas (11.5.38-40) are mentioned in Srimad Bhagavatham. So anyone claiming them as God has to back their claim through bonafide scriptures.

Adiyen,

Badrinarayana Ramanuja Dasan
