Paapa and punya

Srimate ramanujaya nama:

Peruman gave our body, mind and intelligence also gave Sastram as guidelines to conduct our life. When we do an action pertaining to sastra it results as “Punya” and opposite results to “Paapa”.
Consider our present state, we do several things that are having no mention in sastra, starting from our dress, speech , studies, job etc etc. Due to our ignorance we have changed our entire “life style” which mostly wont suite the notion of vedas. In such case how Papa or punya is determined since the whole living has crossed vedic framework, can everything can be said as “Paapam”.
Will actions of kindness, compassion or honesty in loukikam will be rewarded as “punyam”? Please elobrate on this swamy adiyen.

Namaskaram Swami

To do all that what Bhagwan likes and to ignore/ avoid all that what he dislikes, you can get it in Bhagwat Geeta. This is the link covering Bhagwat Geeta by Krishnan Swami, which was telecasted over DD Podhigai, this will definitely help.

The laws of Karma are only depended on intentions.

So it doesn’t matter this is Kali Yuga or Sathya Yuga or we live in vedic time or not, ultimately it’s intentions that matters.

Papa can turn to punya and vice versa by intentions.

For example –

Sri Hanuman burnt down countless homes in Lanka, isn’t it big papa? No.

Sri Arjun killed his own family members and teacher’s, isn’t it big papa? No.

Sri Prahalada always was against the wishes of father and never listened but argued to him. Isn’t it papa? No.

Basmasura did nice puja of Shiva ji, isn’t it great punya? No.

Sri Hanuman and Sri Arjun did apparently papa category things but their intention was to make Sriman Rama and Sri Krishna happy

Although Basmasura did nice puja tapa to please Shiva ji BUT his intentions were wrong and against the God

This is how relative are our scriptures. What they said shouldn’t be taken literally but the intentions matters more

There can be a great devotee of Sriman Narayana who works in bar and great offender who apparently looks Godly but with intentions otherwise

That gives much perspective I guess?

Radhakrishna

There can be a great devotee of Sriman Narayana who works in bar From Radhakrishna

No! a great devotee of Perumal WILL NOT continue working in a bar. Please share ideas only based on acharyas words. Do not contaminate with your interpretations of sastram. If at all you are keen to express your opinion, then please state clearly that “this is just my understanding”. Thank you very much.

Why not! great Sriman Narayana devotee can be who sweeps the floor of bar or be it’s cashier. Ultimately it’s not the job you do but your intentions matters.

Your stereotype reply shows insecurity of free thinking and rationality, that’s it

I wonder what is the ‘steroetype’ you are refering to;

what is the ‘insecurity’ you have identified

what you mean by ‘free thinking’;

and what is sense of ‘rationality’ as per your understanding.

Anyways, please don’t waste time replying to these… because I am not going to waste my time responing to you here after… unless and until your manifestaion of vaishnava qualities is evident through your posts.

best wishes to you.

on September 23, 2020

I didn’t ask you to measure my vaishnava qualities

Anyway Keep your wishes with yourself, because I didn’t ask or want it.

My curiosity has got the better of me, and hence I am writing this now. If you don’t mind, kindly let me know who is that lion acharya (simmasanapathi) who in your perception keeps sending people to hell through his words.

I am only aware of Ramanujacharya (who was willing to go to hell himself if that would save others from experiencing hell) and his followers, the Simmasanapathis, who also manifest such immense compassion towards all of us. Those whom I have been fortunate to see or interact with are not of the kind to send others to hell.

So, my curiosity impels me to know who is the unique ‘acharya’ you have found… either in Ramanuja sampradaya or otherwise.

best wishes to you.

Keep your best wishes with yourself.

My Acharya is who and not is non of your business, right? Pls don’t waste your time interrogating me

Please don’t mistake I am interogating you. I am not keen to know who is your acharyan. I only keen to know who is that ‘bold lion acharyan’ who in your perception can ask bewildered souls in this world to “go to hell”. This person may be or may not be your acharyan. So, you don’t have to reveal whether he is indeed your acharyan or not.

Just share who is that unique person, that is good enough for me. Thank you.

best wishes to you, and prayers for you.

I don’t know why are you stalking me

Don’t you know this website is to discuss about Dharma then – Stalking me, evaluation of my vaishnava qualities, interrogating my Guru

Seriously this is insanity

Now let us have some sincere conversation, RadhaKrishna.

Yes, this is a forum to discuss dharma; and when there is an apparent breech of dharma we seek clarification on that so that the record is set right for as long as these posts are available to the public.

Now, here is a posting which implies “vaishnava acharyas are bold like a lion; when some souls who are bewildered by the allurements of the material world, out of their misplaced concern for their friends try to motivate them towards the material allurements, the lion like acharyas will not hesitate to say “go to hell” to these bewildered lambs.”

Such a statement about Vaishnava acharyas is close to blaspheme. Because no vaishnava acharya will do that. When someone misrepresents vaishnava acharya in a forum like this, it is the duty of other members to highlight the fallacy to the person who has posted such blasphemous statement, just to make that person accounatable for what he/she posts. Whether or not the person realises his mistake, whether or not the person acknowledges his mistake is completely upto them. Atleast for our part we must step up and request that such self-concocted statements bordering on blaspheme do not belong to this forum.

I have just done my humble effort in this direction.

My genuine heartfelt best wishes to you for you to continue to contribute to this forum in a manner befitting to this august group. Thank you.

Very weird, anyway I will write and say and you can’t censor it because you don’t like it

I’m no one to you to obey you, get that.

And I ignore your words from now onwards.
