Srimathe ramanujaya namaha

Swami, please say what is golokam?.I thought that golokam is the place where cows reside, which is gokulam(aayarpaadi).
But my isckon friend confused me.He said that golokam was a part of nithya vibhuti which was north to sri vaikuntam. He also said that golokam was 3 crores yojanas spreaded where radha krishna lies constantly like sri vaikuntam and it was non destructive. He also said that people who got moksha only can worship this radha krishna in golokam

He also gave me some verse from markandeya purana which says about goloka which is mentioned below
“Golokam ca parithyajya lokanam trana karnat kalau gauranga rupena lila lavanya vigrahah”
He also gave me another verse which is
“Evam bahu vidhai rupais caramiha vasundharam brahmalokam ca caunteya golokam ca sanatanam”

He also said that krishna in golokam is with cows and radha. He said that golokam was north to sri vaikuntam and was situated at the height from sathya loka which was same like paramapadam.

Hope i would get some good response

Adiyen ramanuja dasan

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Namskaram ‘G’ Swami,

With some positive thrust due to Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Aasirvadham, adiyen will share few things.

Purushartham (Destination/Goal of Athma) varies depending up what one’s Acharya’s have understood from Scriptures and what they have taught to their Shishyas, and also each devotees has their own point of interest (Purushartham) within same same Acharya Lineage which could be different from Shisyas to Shisyas.

Some Glossary:

Parama Padham a.k.a Param Dham is called SriVaikuntam (Nithya Vibhoothi / Spiritual World) beyond the Virajai Nadhai where there is No Creation, Absorption & Destruction due to NO Karmas existing for any Athmas, Just BhagavAt Anubhavam and Kainkaryam only. The BhgavAn in here is called as “Para VasudevAn“.

Below the Virajai nadhi is called as Samsaram (Leela Vibhoothi / Material World) which is subject to Creation, Absorption & Destruction, where countless of Andams are present, and each Andam has unique Brahma, Shiva, Indra etc.. and each Andam has 14 lokas, where one of the loka on the top side of the Andam is Sathya Loka where Brahma is present and Shiva’s Kailasam is also present inside the Sathya Loka. Also there is one called Karya Vaikuntam where  kshirabdhinatha (Sriman Narayana with Laxmi Devi reclining on adi shesha) which is not the actual SriVaikuntam (Parama Padham).

*************************

Below is what one considers depending up on what their Acharyas have understood from scriptures preached. It really depends whom you are asking the question.

For Sriman NarayanA devotees, Parama Padham is Vaikuntha

For Rama devotees, Parama Padham is Ayodhya Dhama

For Narasimha devotees, Parama Padham is Ahobhila Dhama

For Varaha devotees, Parama Padham is Shwetha Varaha Dhama

For Krishna (ISKCON) devotees, Parama Padham is Goloka

For Swaminarayan  (BAPS) devotees, Parama Padham is Akshar Dham

etc….etc…. there are many sub-lokams inside SriVaikuntam for the above different forms of Para VasudevAn,

Other cases as,

For Shiva devotees, Parama Padham is Mount Kailash

For Brahma devotees, Parama Padham is Brahmaloka on Mount Meru

For Indra devotees, Parama Padham is Swargaloka

For Yama devotees, Parama Padham is Naraka,

For Asura devotees, Parama Padham is Asura Pattanam,

etc………

*********************

Let each other sampradhyam or followers have their own Purushartham (Destination/Goal of Athma) based on their own Acharya’s understandings & Preaching’s. If devareer’s focus is on Swami Ramanujar ThiruvAdi, & if that is what devareer is pursuing through Velukkudi Swami’s Anugraham, then  devareer to focus on devareer’s Purushartham, which Swami Ramanujar tells in Gadhya Trayam (Sahranathy Gadhyam, SriRanga Gayam & Vaikunta Gadhyam)  How Parama Padham will be ?and how one will attain there?  and Swami Pillai LokacharyAr tells in “Archardhi” grantham.

So, adiyen honestly did not understand devareer’s last comment “Hope i would get some good response“,  so what is good response, based on whose understanding is termed as ‘good response’ will be the next question?

Adiyen (ElayAlwar) Srinivasa (DhoddayaAcharyar) Dasan,

Yet another beautiful reply Elayalwar Swami!

Adiyen would like to share my personal experience in this case. Adiyen received 2 fortunes in 2012. 1. Adiyen got the grace of Sri Velukkudi Swami (got his darshan in Portland), which lead me into getting initiation in Sri Vaishnavism 2. Adiyen got the association of ISKCON devotees and learned Bhagavad Gita, Chaitanya Charitramita from them. Like Elayalwar Swami mentioned, the realization in Parama Padam is connected with the mood/desire of the individual. However, as per our scriptures and our Swami’s upanyasams (Vaikunta Gadyam), it’s an eternal place of unlimited bliss, where one (Muktatmas / Nitya Sooris – Residents)  can enjoy serving the Lord without any limits. So based on one’s pure desire (it can be anything and it will be only pure as they have already lost all rajas and tamas gunas during their bath in Virajai), Perumal allows every individual resident to serve Him and enjoy with Him as they wish. This is very logical. Adiyen’s understanding from listening to both the sampradayas is that Sri Vaikuntam is a huge realm (2/3rds bigger than Leela vibuthi / this material realm), where all the so-called lokas where different past times are performed by the Lord to get pleasure and also make the residents happy. All the other things said by some ISKCON followers are only because of their extreme attachment to their sampradaya. However, there are lots of similarities between our sampradayas. As per Gaudiya Vaishnavism, they say, Krishna is always in His yuvana age ie 15 yrs, 9 months and 12 days and it always remains the same. Our Achrayars also confirm that Sriman Narayana is in His yuvana age. Let’s appreciate the similarities and follow our Acharyars teachings.

Adiyen!

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Adiyen Charamavathi Dasan G Swami & Badri Swami for the pious understanding and sharing experience based on devareer Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Anugraham

Adiyen’s DhandavAt Pranaamam on Velukkudi Swami ThiruvAdigalukku for Abhimaanam & approving the above post in today’s Enpani #1711 by saying about “Purushartham (Destination/Goal of Athma) varies…… “.

***************

Adiyen would also to categorize the above post details and add one thing that adiyen did not mention in the above post with Acharya ThiruvAdi Bhalam and Velukkudi Swami’s Aasirvadham.

There are FOUR Primary Nishtai’s (devotions) in Spiritualism.

‘1) Adhama Parva Nishtai : Very Mean & low level (NO BHakthi AT ALL in Spiritualism).

example as said above:

For Asura devotees, Parama Padham is Asura Pattanam

etc….other Nara Sthuthi who are not devotees considered in this category. Next higher step is

‘2) Pradhama Parva Nishtai : Very First Step in Bhakthi in Spiritualism field. Like Devantharam Poojai

example as said above:

For Shiva devotees, Parama Padham is Mount Kailash

For Brahma devotees, Parama Padham is Brahmaloka on Mount Meru

For Indra devotees, Parama Padham is Swargaloka

etc… Other Devataas so on…..including ParamAthma Sriman Naranayana Poojai,

‘3) Madhyama Parva Nishtai : Second step in Bhakthi. Just Sriman NarayanA and HIS Original other forms Poojai Only (No Devantharam Poojai)

example as said above:

For Sriman NarayanA devotees, Parama Padham is Vaikuntha

For Rama devotees, Parama Padham is Ayodhya Dhama

For Narasimha devotees, Parama Padham is Ahobhila Dhama

For Varaha devotees, Parama Padham is Shwetha Varaha Dhama

For Krishna (ISKCON) devotees, Parama Padham is Goloka

For Swaminarayan  (BAPS) devotees, Parama Padham is Akshar Dham

‘4) Charama Parva Nishtai : Final step in Bhakthi. Acharyane Deivam.

This is also called as:

  • Vaduga Nambhi Nishtai : Andra Poornar Swami considered Swami Ramanujar as Deivam and not SriRanagnathan, also called as:
  • Madhurakavi Nishtai : Madhurakavi Alwar considered HIS Acharyan Swami NamAlwar as Deivam and not AathiNaathar Perumal. also called as:
  • Shatrunga Nishtai : Shatrugnan considered Bharatha Azhvan as Deivam and not  SriRama.

example adiyen did not mention above, but as below:

For Ramanuja devotees, Parama Padham is Achutha Divya Dhama

Achutha is Supreme BhagavAn Sri Krishna,

Dhama means the residence

Divya is holy,

So the Achutha Divya Dhama means “the place where Sri Krishna BhagavAn Happily resides”. That is none other than Swami NamAlwar.

Swami NamAlwar is also called as Achutha Divya Dhama as in Parankusa Ashtakam and Swami NamAlwar is “Trishna Krishna Tatvam

Srimate Ramanujayae Namaha,

There was one similar question i had asked Swami earlier in this forum and Swamy replied to it in enpani.

I tried to go my ” following list” in my account, but it does not load beyond 1 page. Can any help how to access other pages in our following list. Then i can hopefully find the enpani no in which swami replied. Thanks.

Adiyen.

ElayaAlwar swamy,

Namaskaram.

adiyen could find  Enpani #1711 but with the title “சார்வரி ஆண்டுக்கு என்ன இலக்கு” and not with the title “Purushartham (Destination/Goal of Athma)”. I tried next few audios also, but could not. Can anyone give me the link.

adiyen

Srimate Raamanujaye Namaha,

Yes swamy, the title is “சார்வரி ஆண்டுக்கு என்ன இலக்கு”  in which Swami explains about importance of fixing a destination/goal and working towards it.

Interestingly this thread is reactivated almost 1 year from the start date..april 13 2020 and April 12 2021.

on April 13, 2021

Thank you swamy.

I expected details on golokam and others in that audio. Hence, adiyen listened to next two audios also. It’s ok.

I observed this one year when adiyen was posting. In fact, I deducted 365 from yesterday’s enpani audio for checking the 1711.

If ADIYEN remember correctly, according to Velukkudi Swamy’s upanyasam “Veda failed to measure after sathya lokam”.
