Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,

Dear All  Baktha’s,

Adiyen would like to utilize this question/post to SHARE some of the Etiquette that adiyen has learned from other Kainkarya Bakthas over a period of time.

Adiyen is not sure of Physical Srimadh Bhagavatam class locations. But there are Thiruvaimozhi Kalakshepam and Divya Prabhandhams  classes etc..

However, there are ONLINE Srimadh BhagavatAm classes as in below link by Sri Velukkudi Swami.

https://www.kinchit.org/video/

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=64qCDznIWi4&list=PLhrdHlkOIj-UtET7BAUeeUOpYLnDRVFje

We ALL Bakthas treat any online upanyasams/classes in the SAME MANNER/RESPECT as attending LIVE Upanyasams/Kalakshepams.

Means, when hearing Acharyas/Swami’s Upanyasams at “Home”, we and family members/kids allot dedicatedly 30 minutes~ 1 hr Minimum daily on weekdays and more hours on weekends “after completing” our Nithya Anushtanams/Aaradhani and also after completing our SWA-DHARMAM (take care of Athma Bandhus if they are parents, family members, etc.. and also after  kids complete their outdoor play for physical fitness and after our House hold work which are all part of Kainkaryams to BhagavAn etc…) .

Men wear “Veshti or Pancha Gajam” depending on our Varnams/Kulams and Females wear “Saree in normal way or MadiSaaru type” depending up on our Varnams/Kulams. The reason is, Upanyasams/Kalakshepams are about “BhagavAt Vishayam”, so the “Subject and the Upanyasakar”  to be given High Respect, if not , Nothing will get into our mind.

After wearing such attire (Swaroopam), then when we Bakthas listen Swami’s Upanyasam CD/Online classes with pin-drop silence AT HOME. If neighbour’s come during this period, then we involve them in Swami’s Upanyasams. They also get benefitted out of this.

If we know that, there will be frequent neighbor visits, but they are not interested in Upanyasams, then we Baktha’s tell them in advance about our per day daily routine schedule for hearing Upanyasams and request them Not to disturb us during this time. These are acceptable answers by neighbour’s, since we don’t go and disturb them, when they are watching TV serials for taking further births like current birth. It is a mutual give-and-take understanding.

Due to such disciplinary family life style (gratitude), we all Baktha’s are able to ‘remember’ and ‘reflect’ and ‘implement (follow)’ BhagavAt Vishayam in our day-to-day life with BhagavAt/Acharya Anugraham.

But, when there is a opportunity to hear Swami’s LIVE Upanyasams around our premises or closer to our city, then we go and attend, skipping that day schedule to hear upanyasam at home.

LIVE is  better, as Sri Andal says in Thiruppavai “KOODI IRUNDHU KULIRNDHU (Enjoying Bhagavat Vishsyam together with all Baktha’s in a blissful ambience)”, plus we get Swami’s direct blessings/Anugraham as well.

There are some exceptions of attire:

  • While travelling in bus or car (when we are a passenger and not driver). If there is plenty of time to reach destination, then we SHOULD remove our footwear, and if we are not on proper attire, then compromise on attire is OK as temperory deviation. Then listen upanyasam in vehicle CD player or our personal ear-phone.

  • Apply same method if we hear upanyasams at office as well. Many listen to some music while working at their desk. So we can utilize such hours to hear upanyasams when our work load is less at office. It is not mandatory to hear upanyasams at office , but if we choose to hear, then leave footwear under desk and use ear-phone to hear upanyasams. Use our own best judgment.

All Kainkarya Baktha’s ThiruvAdikku Pallandu who has given such tips to adiyen in the past,

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami ThiruvAdigalaey Thanjam,

Thayar-Perumal-Alwar-Emperumanaar-Jeeyar-Acharyar Thiruvadigalaey Sharanam,

I think, the question was quite simple and starightforward. She wanted to learn the slokas of Bhagavata Puranam and if there is anybody to teach in person face-to-face.

Srimatae Ramanujaya Namaha,

I see. Now, adiyen understood.

Thanks Baktha for the elucidation.

Adiyen think, adiyen mentioned from adiyen’s knowledge in the above thread as:

***************************
“Adiyen is not sure of Physical Srimadh Bhagavatam class locations. But there are Thiruvaimozhi Kalakshepam and Divya Prabhandhams  classes etc..”.
***************************

Adiyen only heard of many Divya Prabhandhams “Sandhai” class location Physical & Online or Sandhai CD from stores and we learn ourselves with Acharya Krupai.

If any Baktha’s know about Srimad Bhagavatam Physical class location, then it will be helpful to know as well.

Thanks again Baktha for the clarity.

Adiyen,
Aham dhanyosmi
Thank you for your reply Adiyen’s motive was to learn the shlokas cause I’m already doing it by hearing the uoanyasams done by sri velukkudi krishnan swamy, Adiyen’s motive is to learn the correct internal meaning of each and every sloka and not the sloka.
If Adiyen’s question or reply is wrong, pls kshamikkanum adiyena.

More restrictions are applicable in kalakshepams than upanyasams.

For any training on mantra it’s better in person than online.

Good news we are getting svbc 2 in channel 616 after I complained several times to sun direct.

There is a lot of difference between hearing and listening.

Listening is more focussing . It’s about “gavanam” . Hearing is just ear’s job. Listening is all coming together with mind.

We keep hearing multiple voice but we listen to only one voice at a time basically. Ashtavadhanis and such people focus more than one activity at a time.

Listening to upanyasams or kalakshepams itself is an art.

Kaetapadi/Soldrapadi nadakkanum.

Yesterday midnight (ekadashi) started listening “thirukovilur penpillai” (if I remember right) Lakshmana Swamy started building parnashalai home in forest for Sri Rama.

With beautiful Wodden doors, windows, entrance, the interior decoration with peacock’s feathers. I just got transported there.

Lakshmana Swamy called SriRama Piratti for graha pravesham.

Yes Srimad Ramayanam is an experience. I feel as if it’s happening now in front of my eyes.

Think about Hanuman he lives with ram even now. It’s not a thing of past it’s an event occuring now.

See we cannot experience something without his divine grace. Something happening is due to him only.

At this point in time.

Velukkudi Krishnan Swami used to say “bhagavan is alive” in temple statue in EnPaNi who can become archakkar.

Yes we can feel that so Ramayanam happening in front of my eyes. It’s an experience. What a bhagyam in kainkaryam?
