Pranams to Sri Velukkudi Swami.
Pranams to all Sri Vaishnava bagavathas.

My wife desires to change the vasthram for vigrahams inside Koyil Azhwar. She is willing to do with proper acharam only. I don’t want to stop her kainkaryam desire but not sure whether she is allowed to do it. Requesting your advice.

Swamy, generally it advised for sthri not to touch salagrama thirumeni or perumal thirumeni. When purusha is present in gruham he should perform aradhanam and she can do paricharikka kainkaryam by preparing thaligai, pushpam etc. But otherwise she can perform aaradhanam but surely WITHOUT touching thirumeni. Flowers and other upacharam can be offered carefully without touching (even the Garland can be offered on kovil azhwar itself!) Prasadam sevakalam sattrumarai and threetham can be performed as it is. Only services involves veda mantra like reacting mantra pushpam and involving touching perumal ie thirumajanam etc should kindly be avoided!
Pardon me for any mistakes

Ladies and Gents are mentality. They are bodily identifications.

Jiva is always female and Prakriti

So anyone can do because no such thing as male gender exits, it is body level and puja is not body level but soul level

The only male is Sriman Narayana and his Avatars and all are females except him

Some orthodox old rigid persons will be rigid
