Are Vedic sayings being precise or approximate a result of Rishi’s nature who recognized ?

Namaskaaram Swamins,

Are Vedic statements being precise or approximate a result of Rishi’s nature who recognized it and delivered to us?

To the limited extent I know, in some instances Vedas say precisely without giving any room for ambiguity – heard our Swamy saying about Upanishads – A student went in search of truth in East direction, west, north, south. In order to avoid any doubts that may arise in anyone’s mind, Veda goes one step further and says, north – east direction and all – so precise.

In some places, Veda statements convey approximate features – examples: Sahasra Sheersha Purusha: …..This is not interpreted as Thousand eyes, but as innumerable.

Another example is about measurement – one third approximately.

Some say Veda mantras present ever in cosmos and it was different Rishis who recognized and passed it on to us.

Interpersonal variations may be there in explaining different observations.

So, is it like, different Rishis due to their propensity for preciseness or approximateness, might have given mantras accordingly?

Or is it like what can be inferred approximately can only be told in an approximate manner..but here, one gets a confusion, where this …that …stanzas talk this way or that way… isn’t?

Dhanyosmi, Swamin(s), in advance.

Adiyen Ramanujadasan.

Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

No confusion Swamy.

” Sahasra Sheersha Purusha: …..This is not interpreted as Thousand eyes, but as innumerable”

Azhwar says pala Kodi noorAyiram in pallandu pallandu

Infinite nu sollitu poga vendiyadhu dhaney
Adhu enna pala Kodi noorAyiram?

Avlo BrahmAndam perusu nu artham
Namma bhAshaila soldrAr

Brahma says
NamO ananthAya sahasra moorthaye

AnanthAya (endless) nu solliyAchu la
Apuram yaen sahasra moorthaye nu sollanum?

Moorthy is finite form for our sake which is innumerable

Illati devareer eppadi atta buja karathan nu paatu paaduveer?

Sahasra koti Yuga dhariney nama:

Sollanumnu try pandraen but mudiyala so enakku therinja sahasra koti baseline vechukko nu Brahma soldrar sahasranamathula

These are different ways of saying “uncountable”.

Ellai illai enbadhAl

Illai endru solli Vida mudiyadhu
Paramporulukkey adhu theriyadhu

Parashara bhattar nirvAham

In fact I heard the same from Shiva bhakthAs too

Lord Shiva does not know his own limits

Irundha dhaney therivadharkku
Velukkudi adikkadi sAdhippAr
Veda wanted to measure God

It started from ManushyAnandam
(Peak of human senses in Earth)

Went to devanandam (Swargam)

Went to BrahmA Anandam (Sathyalokam)

Finally accepted it’s defeat to measure

NithyAnandam (SriVaikuntam)

Veda is apourushEyam adhuvey tholviyai oppu kondadhu

Regarding shapes:

Rishis see the unseen
VishwAmita gave us Gayathri

Adhrushyam
Adrushtam

Drushti kkunappAr pattadhu

So Rishis have the ability to measure ultrasound, infrared, ultraviolet that are not visible to human naked eye without any tool

Swamy,
Atleast may be in pointing out who is ParaBrahmam, Vedas preferred probably not to give precise statements. Maraiporul.

Correct Swamy

We can’t call big people by names. Only referential integrity persists
