Swami also briefly explains about ThamaraBharani Pushkaram in Enpani 1166. Some key highlights as below from Swami’s Enpani.

• This year 2018, it is celeberated from Oct11th to Oct22.
• Pushkaram is a tatvam (concept) like the tatvam of Tamarai (Lotus Flower) on Brahmas Kamandalam
• Ramayanam, MahaBharatam, Srimadh BhagavAtam talks about the Mahimai of TamaraBharani River
• ThamaraBharani River orignates from Tamizh Muni Agasthiyar’s residence Podhigai Mountain and this river and gives Shezhippu/Valam to TamilNadu.
• Swami Pillai Lokacharyar’s brother Swami Azhagiya Manavaala Nayanaar says, TamiraBharani river’s auspiciousness is greater than Gangai, Yamuna & Keveri rivers.
• Sukacharyar Orator of BhagavAta Puranam tells about Alwars Avataram in ThamaraBharani river banks.

“Tamara” represents the Sheppu vArnam (can be considered as Red color).

“Bharana” means Ilaigal/Leafs/Petals.

TamaraBharanam” means Sheppu varnatthu Ilaigal (red colored leaves).

“Bharani” means antha ilayai uadyaval, or antha Ilai varnatthai udayaval.

So, “TamaraBharani” means a place where Red colored Lotus with red colored petals/leafs of Lotus are suffciently seen. Hence this River is TamaraBharani Nadhi

“Porunal” is the Tamil word for the ThamaraBharani river, which is a sanskrit word.

Swami says, where ever ThamaraBharani river is flowing, Bhkatas to please get blessings of ThamaraBharani river during the Pushkaram period of Oct11th to OCt22nd

Swami says, Pallaandu to all ThannAarva Thondargal who is involved in ThamaraBharani Pushkaram celeberations.
