Swami i have heard about this. But i don’t remember fully.. I remember about “Ahankaaram” or false ego.. The jivas are by nature servants of Sri Krishna and is supposed to be enjoyed by Him. But we have desire to Lord it over the material nature when we come to this leela vibhuti, so to facilitate this wrong impression that we are the enjoyer, nature under Sri Krishna’s order creates this false ego component for us to do what we want ..

The Maahan is the  raw material before creation..before the differentiation into air, water ,fire, land and ether happens the primordial state is referred to as Mahat Tattva which i think is same as Maahan ( not sure need to confirm)
