Does Shastram speak ill about women? In some part of shastram women is criticized on their behavior and character. I always believe Shastram doesn’t speak anything without a reason, What does shastram actually say about women? If swami could clarify it would be really great.

When asking such questions, request you to quote what made you think like that so that anyone can answer.

A women is Saha Dharma chArini. She has to take part in husband’s Dharma if married.

Even we men are born from Amma a woman. Then how come shastram speak Ill or bad?

Women handle multiple things in household and their mind is soft and flexible.

That flexibility is sometimes dangerous. A woman represents a family, generation, hierarchy. If something goes wrong entire family tree gets affected.

So shastram is particular about this gender to be classified as “protected”
