What Swami says in 14:00 minutes is about Non-sharanagathas and Sharanagathas.

In general, beforeor sharanagathy, everyone belongs to the four Labour system based on their Ashrama dharma.
Brahmanas, kShatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras. For all of these four non-sharanagathas, the standard shastric rule applies like paapa, punya, prayaschitham etc.

When one from any of the above four varnas becomes a Sharagathan on Sriman NarayanA lotus feet through Acharya ThiruvAdi, then they don’t come under the above four classifications. They are distinticly called as “Prapanna Kulam (Dasas of BhagavAn Sriman NarayanA)”. If you carefully listenn again, Swami starts with the preface at 13:39 saying as “Prapanna Kulam”, then later He says this as a Fifth Kulam, just to imply that one who belongs to Prapanna Kulam are distinct from the standard above four classifications of non-sharanagathas. It’s a privilege.

Once we belong to Prapanna Kulam (fifth varna), then how do we spent time in rest of this janma till we reach ParamaPadham (Moksham) through Acharyar Ramanuja’s grace?. We can only do things that we know of. It’s nothing but to continue ones own pre-varnashrama dharmam that one knows of, for rest of the life while in Prapanna Kulam. That’s the gist of Swami’s speech in the link you mentioned.
