What about giving back the richness to Indran in Vamana/TriVikrama avataram is that not an act of Anugraham?

Generally wealth becomes an obstacle in attaining Bhagawan hence He mercifully takes it away for the elimination of His bhakta’s karmic reactions.

श्रीभगवानुवाच
यस्याहमनुगृह्णामि हरिष्ये तद्धनं शनै: ।
ततोऽधनं त्यजन्त्यस्य स्वजना दु:खदु:खितम् ॥ ८ ॥

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
yasyāham anugṛhṇāmi
hariṣye tad-dhanaṁ śanaiḥ
tato ’dhanaṁ tyajanty asya
svajanā duḥkha-duḥkhitam

The Personality of Godhead said: If I especially favor someone, I gradually deprive him of his wealth. Then the relatives and friends of such a poverty-stricken man abandon him. In this way he suffers one distress after another.
In some cases, Bhagawan does personally grant opulence to His fully surrendered bhakta and this opulence being personally granted by Him is not binding in nature.

kṣīṇa-rikthaś cyutaḥ sthānāt
kṣipto baddhaś ca śatrubhiḥ
jñātibhiś ca parityakto
yātanām anuyāpitaḥ
guruṇā bhartsitaḥ śapto
jahau satyaṁ na suvrataḥ
chalair ukto mayā dharmo
nāyaṁ tyajati satya-vāk

Although bereft of his riches, fallen from his original position, defeated and arrested by his enemies, rebuked and deserted by his relatives and friends, although suffering the pain of being bound and although rebuked and cursed by his spiritual master, Bali Mahārāja, being fixed in his vow, did not give up his truthfulness. It was certainly with pretension that I spoke about religious principles, but he did not give up religious principles, for he is true to his word.

एष मे प्रापित: स्थानं दुष्प्रापममरैरपि ।
सावर्णेरन्तरस्यायं भवितेन्द्रो मदाश्रय: ॥ ३१ ॥

eṣa me prāpitaḥ sthānaṁ
duṣprāpam amarair api
sāvarṇer antarasyāyaṁ
bhavitendro mad-āśrayaḥ

The Lord continued: Because of his great tolerance, I have given him a place not obtainable even by the demigods. He will become King of the heavenly planets during the period of the Manu known as Sāvarṇi.

इन्द्रसेन महाराज याहि भो भद्रमस्तु ते ।
सुतलं स्वर्गिभि: प्रार्थ्यं ज्ञातिभि: परिवारित: ॥ ३३ ॥

indrasena mahārāja
yāhi bho bhadram astu te
sutalaṁ svargibhiḥ prārthyaṁ
jñātibhiḥ parivāritaḥ

O Bali Mahārāja [Indrasena], now you may go to the planet Sutala, which is desired even by the demigods. Live there peacefully, surrounded by your friends and relatives. All good fortune unto you.

Adiyen.

Thanks for detailed answer
“Bali Mahārāja, being fixed in his vow, did not give up his truthfulness. ” ?

One version says Bali did not listen to his AchArya

Assume Bali hmga e a wrong judgement in his court but after finding truth he reversed the judgement it happen correct?

So while Acharya said not to give, he should have listened and not overruled. Technically he did not follow the religious principles.

Coming to Vishnu, he gave Nakshatra loka or equivalent to Dhruva

Vishnu gave Good richness to Bali and Indran.

Vishnu gave good richness to Prahlada including Bali for his firecsther’s act.

Sri Ram gave richness to Vibheeshana.

Sri Krishna gave richness to old lady , Sudhama and the list goes on….

So what Velukkudi Sri Krishnan Swamy or Sri Krishna himself told in the previous occasion could have been misinterpreted.

I don’t think the one who is husband of Ishwaryam will take back richness from his own devotee by anymeans and let him suffer.

If Krishna said like this

“The Personality of Godhead said: If I especially favor someone, I gradually deprive him of his wealth. Then the relatives and friends of such a poverty-stricken man abandon him. In this way he suffers one distress after another.
”

Then Krishna is not a God but a criminal according to me because A God does not let his devotees suffer at any cost

I guess this basically means that Lord Vishnu nullifies the effects of maya as Kanchan ,kamini and kirti are considered different forms of maya itself and also in Srimad Bhagavatam Kunti Mata herself prays distress from Sri Krishna. This shows that whenever one’s mind is in distress the mind automatically goes towards Lord Vishnu and so money if used for personal gratification is a barrier towards pure and unconditional Vishnu bhakti.
And for Dhruva Maharaj or Bali Mahraja whom Lord Vishnu gives money and prosperity. It can be understood that Lord Vishnu resents them with all pleasure since there hearts are purified while Lord Vishnu takes away all pleasures for the devotees whose heart are yet to be purified. It is also required to neutralise their padt karmas pf multiple births.

*the word would be present instead of resent (line 16)

This discussion already came up. I don’t agree with Kunti mata.

The focus should be to get attention of Sri Krishna and not to get distress.

When one validates “Sukha-Dukhey Same Krithva” in Gita as both Sukha and Dhukha as equal how does it matter If it is distress or pleasure?

Even in pleasure I think it’s because of Krishna. So putting a Bhaktha into distress I will never agree.

This Maya is created by Vishnu, with all due respects, we respect his Maya as well as much we respect lord Krishna.

I am with ISCKON side in this case. Their devotees say:
“Hey Krishna put me wherever you want heaven or hell does not matter but you should be with me”

What about Sugrivan and Indran?

I know the examples I gave were exalted souls. They can be easily grouped as super beings who disregards the worldly pleasure in place of Sri Krishna.

Let’s all accept were are in the Sugrivan and Indran category i.e. who can die for Rama but cannot be without kingdom in this Maya as well.

If all disregards Maya, who will run it?

Why Daksha Prajapati got angry against Narada?
For sending back everyone to Sri Vaikuntam which hampers the inebriated souls to get a place on Earth and execute it’s Karma.

It is a disrespect to say “Vishnu blesses with richness for those who disregards it”.

It becomes a paradox. What’s the use of those richness if none of his devotees will accept it?

There is also a statement that:

Shri Narasimha got the title “PrahlAda Varadan” because he gave Varam (boon) to Prahlada while former did not ask for the boon.

What’s the use of this title or boon?
If this was given to one who requires money he will be happy 😁

Jokes apart. Sri Vishnu himself wants to gain those titles by protecting and showering blessings to all beings on his creation.

If all are back in Sri Vaikuntam, we cannot help in Vishnu Leela which technically gives pleasure to lord himself!!!

If Vishnu gains Anandam because of me let him give his blessings and I am awaiting to accept his blessings to make him happy.
