What is purpose behind giving Atmas Sthavara-Jangama life if no automatic Reformation?

As we observe, due to attachment to inferior modes of nature during Human life, jeevAtmas are getting born in about 80 million Species of Sthavara and Jangama. An Atma may take birth through many plant/tree varieties, maybe rock varieties, then through different animal species like fishes, then birds, flies, bigger animals and finally evolves to human life.
However, when jeevAtmas are progressing through these yonigals, there is no spiritual transformation happening automatically. As an example if I am deer or a chicken and if I am killed by a tiger or a human in a butcher shop, there isn’t a new Smaskara coming in mind that this is painful and we should never in future commit same crime on other species.
So, when such Atma is born back in human life, we automatically due to same vasanas which we had in the human life previous to the journey through sthavara-jangama, commit same papas again and again and act against the rules given by shastras. There is no automatic imprinting in mind coming through the sthavara-jangama that so much papas we have exhausted coming through these yonikal and we shouldn’t again commit these again. Automatically by same papa vasanas, we commit same papas again and again.
Then what is the purpose or benefit behind giving the lower births to a jeeva if He is not corrected by this process.
In our human life, also, when a child touches a fire, his hands get burnt and He understands and doesn’t touch fire again. When a criminal is put behind bar, he undergoes many severe punishments and He tries getting reformed through those punishments and his mind gets purified somewhat.
Similarly, we ourselves also have gone through many naraka vasams/Sthavara-jangama births but we don’t have any automatic mental reformation due to that but we keep on doing same papas in the human life which we get in due course. What is the reasoning or proper concept behind this ?

Why humans have to depend on sastrams that too which is accessible only in india and that too we need to depend on lot of adrshta concepts for getting reformed?

Thanking you,
Gautam

Srimatey Ramanujaya Namaha

we need to depend on lot of adrshta concepts for getting reformed? – Because we ( Atmas ) are adrshta. so is Bhagavan. We cannot see ourselves. That is what we are. So we are not trying to understand a drshta item using adrshta concept. we are only trying to understand an adrshta item using an adrshta concept which makes very sense.

Why humans have to depend on sastrams – There is no other source for us to know all this. That is the will of Bhagavan. Now we cannot question this as this is the design. Bhagavan says he can be known only through sastras. If we question why should I do this, its like acting against the will of Bhagavan which we are not supposed to do. Atma and paramatma both are adrshta. Now who can explain us these adrshta concepts. How do we believe the words of a human. We just cannot accept someone saying something about atma and paramatma. so anything written by a human cannot be taken as valid source. Vedas are apourushya. They were not created by humans/devas. Bhagavan created the vedas for us to understand everything and come back to him.

Why no automatic reformation ? – if there was one, then we won’t depend on Bhagavan for moksha because moksha will happen automatically. We would think that we are svatantra whereas we actually are paratantra. We need to depend on Bhagavan only for moksha. He should be our only upaya as we are his sothu. Again this also is Bhagavan’s design. We cannot question this. some people ask why should there be something called karma because it is because of which we are trapped in samsara. when did we earn this karma ? In previous birth ? when previous birth’s karma ? much more previous birth. When was the first karma started ? Karma is Anadhi. There is no beginning for karma. It is eternal just like the Jivatma himself. People play cricket. Now Adiyen cannot go and say ” I do not like 11 people in the field when I am batting. can we just have 2 people ? because the rule for this game is fixed. It cannot be changed by Adiyen/some one. If Adiyen is interested, Adiyen can play the game as it is but cannot question the rule of the game. Adiyen can know how well to play it by taking guidance under a coach. Similarly there are lot of things which we can question and certain things which we cannot. Having made this samsara too complex, Bhagavan has given such a simple solution for us to catch hold of his lotus feet. If we do that we need not worry about whatever we did in the past. We could be the greatest sinner among all sinners. But once we surrender, Bhagavan will deliver us for sure.

If Adiyen’s answer is not convincing, do not worry. Devareer will get better answers. 🙂
