What happened to Yashodha & Nandagopar after Krishna left Brindavan?

Swamigalukku Adiyen Namaskaram.
Bagavathalukum Adiyen Namaskaram.

Did Yashodha & Nandagopar went to Dwaraka along with Krishna or they stayed at Brindavan only? Has their lives been documented after Krishna left them in Brindavan?

Adiyen Ramanuja Dasan.

Dear ngtk swamy,

Let me share whatever little I have heard / read.

After Lord Krishna left Brindhavanam to go to Mathura He did not visit Brindhavanam again. Later on once Krishna sends His friend Udhdhava for him to see and realise how great is the devotion of denizens of Vrndhavanam. When Udhdhava reaches there he finds all the Vrndhavana people constantly absorbed in Krishna! Everything they do they are relating to Krishna. They talk to the bumble bee as if it is Krishna; they say “this Krishna is very bad; He has not come back; I will not think about Him” and in this way they continue to think about Him and talk about Him all the time.

Later on once during a solar eclipse the Yadavas and Brindhavanam people meet in the holy place of Kurushetra. There Nandagopar and Yashodha-amma get to meet Krishna. It was such a great get-together for them all.

Perumal has arranged this for us to learn how we should constantly think about Him. A very crude experience of that we can feel in our earthly relationships – when the mother is separated from the child she is constantly thinking about the child even more than when the child is with her. When two people in romantic relationship with each other are separated under ‘lockdown’ they think of each other constantly and even more than what they would if they were sitting next to each other. Our remembrance of Perumal should be much deeper than these earthly examples. By acharyan anugraham if we continue to practice the devotional life we will get back to the pure devotional state.

Sometime later I shall share here some of the sample references from Bhagavad Gita that highlight this kind of constant absorption in Perumal. Through scriptures He instructs us to be constantly be absorbed in Him in all our activities. Through His dearest devotees the Brindhavanam people He gives us the example how to be so.

We can get a clear understanding of this when we hear from acharyas who are above the three gunams of satvam, rajas and tamas, and discuss based on what we hear from our acharyas. On the otherhand, if we hear or read from sources which have contaminated motivations and intentions the contamination is likely to infect us also. So, it is wise to cautiously avoid such contaminations even if they are unavoidably present around us. Often times it is easy to spot it; for example as our Velukkudi Swamy explained in one of the EnPani some time ago, the TV serials use events from scriptures but present with their own contamination. Similarly some people may be posting their own contaminated views and expressions in this forum either out of genuine ignorance of the original message of the scriptures or out of willful foolhardiness. We need to exercise prudence in identifying such postings and learn to ignore them completely.

Namaskaram swami

Waiting for the excerpts  of citing the blissful relationships of Jeevan to Paramatman from Bhagwat Geeta .

Dear Ramanujadasan swamy, namaskaram. Thank you so very much for reminding me to keep up my word. Very kind of you.

Actually, it will take some ‘homework’ on my part to recollect, verify and type the relevant slokas. For now please let me share only one example from 12th chapt.er, please

In the beginning of 12th chapter Arjuna asks:

Perumal replies:

Thank you very much.
