VedavyAsa called oh Sukha – All trees responded!

It’s an interesting question. Sukhar sees everything as brahmam.

Velukkudi Krishnan Swami said:
Once Sukhar left home, vyAsar followed in search and called “Oh Sukha”.

All trees responded “Yes appa”.

Then how come Sukha brahmam with that feeling/tendency/realization that all is brahmam preached Srimath Bhagavatham to someone else?

Did he understand he is different from Parikshit?

It’s kind of advaitam feeling correct?

The same question was asked by Swami desikan on tatparya chandrikra to defeat advaitham.

Then to whom did Krishna preached Bhagavath Gita to himself or what?

In maha bharatha when Sukhar ate, the bell that was supposed to ring once for 1000 people dhadhiAradhana pandhi rang multiple times.

Sukhar seeing everything as Brahmam means seeing everything as shariram of Brahmam. He always had the gnana that all jivatmas and even achit are Bhagavan’s shariram. Avar anaithayum thanaku samamaaga paarpar. Endo oru verupadum/yetra thaazhvum  indry anaivarayum Bhagavanakku shariramaagave paarpaar. 

Adhanaal dhaan Veda Vyasar sukharai azhaikum pozhudhu, ella marangalum thirumbi paarthana.

It is not because of Advaita Gnanam but actually Vishitadvaita which says this entire universe including chit and achit are Bhagavan’s shariram. Ofcourse he understood he was different from Parikshit as both were different Jivatmas but both were shariram to Bhagavan.

If everything was seen as Brahmam from an Advaidic point of view, ofcourse it will not make sense for Sukhar to narrate Srimad Bhagavatham to Parikshit. Srimad Bhagavatham glorifies Bhagavan’s avatars and most importantly Krishna Avatar. Why will an Advaity teach about Brahmam with form, gunas, his play times etc ?

We will leave it to them.

It is understood that Sukhar sees everything as bhagavan’s shareeram including chit jivathma and achit entities. So trees responded.

This brings to even more confusion, if trees can respond why was Parikshit not part of Sukhar’s anubhavam?

Why was he taught something separately? This could have happened as a process of that realization right?

What made Parikshit different from tree?

Adiyen thinks devareer real name is KELVIYIN SELVAN. Eppadikooda moolai velai seyyuma appadeenu adhisayamaa irukku.

I think only Sri Velukkudi Swami or who has heard the answer from Swami’s Upanyasam or from preceptors of Sri VishitaAdvaitham should answer instead of speculation, since SriVaishnavism core foundation is PRAMAANAM (original source of answer).

Nice question Vikram Swamy. Yes sukhar could have been part of that realization. But we would have not got “Srimad Bhagavatham”. 🙂

If sukhar who is a maha gnaani can have this anubhavam/realization, can Bhagavan not do this ? Why did he have to open his mouth and utter 700 verses ? Bhagavan being a sathya sankalpan, by his mere sankalpam could have imbibed the gnaana to Arjuna. But he chose to do it the other way.

Milk (Bhagavatham/ Gita) was not only for calf (Parikshit / Arjuna). Parikshit / Arjuna are only means/tool to let out these great shastras. It is for our benefit that Bhagavan gives these shastras.

“Aathma nyaanam perugattum” nu ashirvadham pannirukkaar.

Adhukku poiaagaadhu. Before Adiyen die will get enlightened that’s for sure.

Problem ennana adiyen ellathayum kelvi kekkara arambichutten from school days. Nobody liked me including teachers.

Velukkudi Krishnan Swami used to say:
There was a sishyan who always do vithanda vaada. Guru got upset and wished to plug shishya’s mouth once & for all.

Sishyan: Why this plant slanted towards left?
Guru: Because you will ask why it’s slanted towards right.

Gradually I suppressed asking questions and passed post graduation.
