Namaskaram Swami, Poonal is also for Kshatriyas and Vaishyas men other than Brahmin . Is there any rules that only people who come under this particular sage (gotra) can wear? Can a Sri Vaishnava(not Brahmin) can wear Poonal with proper ceremony and do daily anushtanams?
Yes. Man of 3 Varnas wear poonal and do their prescribed anushthana. The list of anushthana in Kali Yuga and the procedure – pls ask your family Brihaspati
Nandri Swami. I am born iyengar and I married a Kshatriya. We have undergone Samashyanam and Baranyasam by HH 46 Jeer of Ahobila mutt. My husband wants to put Poonal and is interested in performing anushtanams. We have enquired couple of brishaspaties but they are not sure.
