My age is 20 and i am a vaishya my parents didn’t perform any Upanayanam karma as bhramins do but they gave yajnopavithadhanam on my first avani avittam just in front of lord with no recitation of any mantras but i like to know can i perform Upanayanam in right procedure at this age and how to proceed
