Dear Swamy/Periyava,

Adiyen heard this today, our ex-pm NarasimhaRao ji was explaining that ” Those who has Thiruman Srichurnam” it means they are accepting they will merge with sand one day , hence they are having tilak daily to remind that this body will become sand ….? . My understanding is Thiruman srichurnam denotes we are Perumal&Thayat adiyars ?.

Namaskaram.
Adiyen.
Swamy mentions, in one of his upanyasams, that Thiruman represents Baghawan’s sri paada thooli and SriChurnam rep Thayar.
With the application of Thiruman and SriChurnam on our forehead, we dentify ourselves that we belong to them or they are our parents….
On another note, they guard us from anything right from evil to ….preventing us from visiting places that we are not supposed to….
For instance, with Thiruman and Srichurnam on forehead one should be hesitant to visit Bhoajanalayam ( restaurants etc.,) and other places like cinema, bars …and so on… and so on….
Because, it is none of our business and supposed to follow what our aAchayans instructed…and our ancestors follow.- materialistic matters…

But practically, nowadays, it is becoming common ( and also because of the, so- called, unavoidable situations etc.,) to see that persons boldly visiting those places with them on their forehead.

But, atleast,nowadays it is good to see youngsters with Thiruman and SriChurnam on their forehead… including adiyean….😀😀.

Yes Thiruman = Perumal
SriChirnam = ThAyAr

Also my NAthamuni Vamsam friend says “Thraiyath Pundram Vibhuthi horizontal came only after appaya dheekahitar before everything was Urdhva Pundram, with proof”

“Thiruman is representation of Perumal within aadisesha it seems. The snake & God representation”

There is book on Urdhva Pundram by Swamy Desikan it seems.

Also earlier they used to draw middle Chandra prabha like structure after bigger U outside.

Even today adiyen see Krishna Premi Anna side wearing it.

Also adiyen heard Andavan Swamy saying there are many representation of U pundrams the video that adiyen shared on SharanAgathi & prappathi.
