Dear Perumal-swamy,

a Vaishnava desires only for kainkaryam and nothing else. So, begging Lord for kainkaryam is Ananya prayojanam; seeking Lord for the ability to do the kainkaryam is Ananya prayojanam; praying to Him to remove the hurdles in our service (eg. poor health or other such factors) is also Ananya prayojanam.

Our service is only to Perumal, no one else (not even our indriyas); our prayers for ability to do the service and other things is also only to Perumal no one else. This is life of a Vaishnava.
