Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Guruve Namaha,

Dear Ramanujadasi Bhagavata,

Here is a link where Swami has said Sri Radha is “Personification of Bhakthi”. So SriRadha is not Sridevi or Bhoo devotee or Nila devotee.

SriRadha story is NOT available in Puranas or Srimadh BhagavAtam.

TRUE MEANING OF “RADHA”.

North Indian great poets/gurus like Chaitanyacharyar has explained based on:

*******************************
Srimad Bhagavatam 10.30.28

anayaradhito nunam
bhagavan harir isvarah
yan no vihaya govindah
prito yam anayad rahah

anaya — by Her; aradhitah — perfectly worshiped;

The name Rādhā is derived from this verse, from the words anayārādhitaḥ, meaning “by Her the BhagavAn SriKrishna is worshiped.”

The name “Rādhā” is derived from the root word āRādhana, which means “worship.” The personality who excels all in worshiping Kṛṣṇa may therefore be called Rādhikā (feminine gender) , the greatest servitor.
************************

Since Veda Vyasar has not mentioned about Radha character in Mahabharatam, Srimadh Bhagavatam and Vishnu Puranam, we should consider the REAL meaning of RADHA as:

“Anyone who perfectly workships BhagavAvan SriKrishna can be called as Radhika or Radha, which is nothing but the “Personification of Bhakthi” or a “Pure state of Bhakthi” So each one of us should reach to that pure State of Bhakthi, which is nothing but the meaning of Radha (derived from ‘aRadhadhito’ as in the verse).

Therefore, each Acharyas(poets) primarily in north side DEVELOPED THE CHARACTER using the same Name ‘Radha’ in their granthams/POEMS that they wrote, inorder to APPLY the Real meaning of the verse aRadhitah , so we Bhaktas could do the ‘Pure Bhakthi’ to SriKrishna BhagavAn.

So each one of us are Radha, if we exhibit the pure Bhakthi as described by BhagavAn in the above verse.

Adiyen Sri Velukkudi Krishna Dasan,
Uyya Oraey Vazhi UdayavAr ThiruvAdi,
Sarvam SriKrishnarpanam Asthu.

Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Guruve Namaha,

Bhagavatas Thiruvadikku Pallandu for Beautiful mana yennam to keep Thayar’s name for Bhagavatas baby.

‘Aditi, is SriDevi Thayar’s (MahaLakshmi) thiru naamam as seen in Lakshmi Asthothara Satha naama stotram and not Neeladevi Thayar’s thiru naamam.

Three Nachiyaars of ParaVasudevan in ParamaPadham:
* Sridevi is Mahalakshmi Thayar. Sita, Rukmini are their avatarams.
* Bhudevi is Bhoomadevi Thayar. Andal is their avataram.
* Neeladevi Thayar took avataram as Nappinnai.

Please also check Swami’s Neela Devi Thayar Vaibhavam, if Swami mentions any other names for Neela Devi Thayar. If adiyen come across, adiyen will also share.

This youtube Playlist Link has:
MahaLakshmi Thayar Vaibhavam ( 6 parts),
Bhu Devi THayar Vaibhavam (2 parts),
Neela Devi Thayar Vaibhavam (4 parts).

Any Thayar’s names are apt to keep for baby. Adiyen so far don’t know Neela Devia Thayar’s name other than Nappinnai. Only Swami can help about other names of Neela Devi Thayar. Radha is a good apt name as well reflecting Pure Bhakthi to SriKrishna. In Sampradhayam many keep Radha name as well. For BhagavAtas Information, Sri Velukkudi Swami’s Thiru Thunaiviyaar (wife’s) name is Radha. Swami and Maami is like Radha and Krishna.

Adiyen Sri Velukkudi Krishna Dasan,
Uyya Oraey Vazhi UdayavAr ThiruvAdi,

Sita Devi (SreeDevi) Thayar Samedha SriRama BhagavAn Ki Jai,
Bhu Devi Thayar Samedha Sri Varaha Perumal Ki Jai,
Nila Devi (Nappinnai) Samedha Sri Krishna BhagavAn Ki Jai,

Sri Ramanuja Munaye Namaha,

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Guruve Namaha,

Dear Ramanujadasi BhagavAta,

Adiyen found few beautiful names of Neela Devi Thayar from Swami’s upanyasams, if this helps.

Neela, Nappinnai, AnanthaMangai, Roopa, Pulamangai, Malar.

நீளா ,  நப்பின்னை , ஆனந்தமங்கை , ரூப , புலமங்கை , மலர் .

There are many girls with these names already.

1st 4 names are from Swami’s SriNeelaDevi Vaibhavam upanyasam (above youtube link).

PonnMangai –> SreeDevi (mahalakshmi), MannMangai –> Bhoomi Devi, AnanthaMangai –> NeelaDevi

Neela Devi Thayar is “Roopa Audharya Sampannaou”

(no one equivalent to her beauty and audharyam). Roopa name is more popular name in northside used in southside as well. In southside people name as “Roopasundari (ரூபசுந்தரி )” instead of Roopa, since roopa itself is not common in southside, so they add the tamil meaning of the roopa as sundari to the name itself.

Pulamangai due to Neela devi thayar enriches (nourishes) our pulan (indriyangal)

Malar name is from Swami’s Thiruppavai upanyasam on Undhu Madha Kalattrin paasuram, where Andal  (BhuDevi) says Nappinnai (Neela Devi) as Malar.
