Namaskaaram!

Is it true that poonool should not be worn in such a way that it goes below navel?

Adiyen has never found anybody following this rule within the ‘next of kins’, but happened to read a book  (written by a smartha periyavar) where this rule has been mentioned; hence the query.

Yes true. Neither to touch navel nor hang below navel.

Never seen most ppl following that rule, at least Vaishnavas, I don’t find that an important whether it’s above or below. Importantly it’s a mood and qualifications, not rituals.

Yagnyopaveetham should not go below hip. Brahma mudichu should be on chest near 💓 heart. That’s all adiyen know.

There might be other strict rules.
