Dear Swamy/Periyava,

Adiyen Ramanujadasan.

Today when I was listening to Swamy’s upanaysam , this doubt came. Even Perumal itself taking SwaymBhu and Archa avatar thriumeni. But our Atma is still hidden and not an structured view to understand by common citizen that everyone on us JeevaAtma. We have to say that by words ,but in realistic it’s an Hidden or Unseen element.

I am trying to understand Swamy’s upanayasam about Chithi, Achitu, Paramaatma . Etc. ParamAtma is clear he is the Boss, he can be archa, swayambhu, paravasudeva. Etc. How about our Atma what structure he/she will be ? It’s has mind ?.

Sorry for the crazy questions.

Swami
. How about our Atma what structure he/she will be ? It’s has mind ?.

Swami this question is very important

” Our Atma” where is it

Next

“My Atma” where is it

Then

” My” who is “my”

Finally

“I” who is this ” I”

Who is asking this question

Is Atma asking or Ego asking

Ask these questions

This question is Brahma astram

It will kill the False I leaving the real I

That is Atma

Swami Atma knows itself ,

Atman doesn’t require anything to know itself

But the thought I could not see or feel the Atman is illusory

It is not existent

You are Atman – no need to search for Atman

Under Divine Grace and Meditation is the only way to be as Atman

Destruction of The thought I is jnana yoga

Destruction of the thought MINE is bhakti yoga

Destruction of both I and MINE by Divine Grace is Saranagathi under Acharya Thiruvadigal

Simply your searching for yourself

Destruction of The thought I is jnana yoga

Could you please share with me the source of this description; I would like to hear the full lecture or read the full article.

If there is no single source and if it is based on your understanding of different lectures by acharyas, please let us know

Thank you

Namaskaram kambandasan Swami

” your understanding ”

Swami there is nothing like your understanding there is only Understanding

There is no doer – this is Gnana yoga

That is only Gnana there is no Gnani

Similarly there is only Bhakti there is no bhakta – this is Bhakti yoga

2nd adyayam Sri Bhagvat Gita

Just one sentence tells everything

Thega Atma vivega Gnanam

Loss of the thought I am the body
Leads to Gnanam

If there is no I am the body thought what is there to tell as mine

So loss of mine leads to Bhakti

Otherwise
Paragnanam and Parabhakthi

Paragnanam and Parabhakthi happening is only Divine Grace

Acharya is Divine Grace

Swami

“Could you please share with me the source of this description; I would like to hear the full lecture or read the full article.”

Who is going to share with whom
And who is going to hear or read

There is only reading there is no reader
There is only hearing there is no hearer

Sri Bhagvat Gita is Paragnanam and Parabhakthi

Rather it is everything

adiyen Ramanuja dasan

What you have written is not in line with Ramanuja darshanam. Since you sign off as “Ramanuja dasan”, it will be nice to share based on what we have heard from acharyas who are fixed in Ramanuja darshanam.

Otherwise you can follow your logic: “there is only thought, no Thinker” “there is only writing, no Writer”. following this logic will help to remain silent. Because, if you really believe you don’t exist as a Writer, and we don’t exists as Readers, then there is not need to write anything. Just let your thought (which occurred without a Thinker) just remain as thought and not express it.

Swami

The above two paragraphs and the last word “adiyen” in the above reply is completely contradictory

In Swami Dharisanam there is only “adiyen”

adiyen replaced the words YOU and I

because YOU AND I are DOERS

and adiyen is complete silence

adiyen Ramanuja dasan

That is your misunderstanding, and that is what I have been trying to convey to you.

According to Ramanuna darshanam, sense of “I” does not dissolve in to non-existence; it very much exists eternally. The consciousness of the “I” is “I am a servant of Perumal and His devotees”. The word ‘servant’ refers to rendering the service of assisting others to get closer to Perumal and render service to Him. It is in this sense even acharyas address themselves as ‘adiyen’, because they are rendering the service of helping us get closer to Perumal.

Similarly, the service we are rendering to each other through our interactions is to help each other render service to acharyas and Perumal. One of the fundamental service for us is to understand the true philosophy as presented by Udaiyavar (and not adulterate it with philosophies which he has carefully weeded out through his expositions).

So, “I” do exist (and will exist eternally) as a vaishnava dasan, and I am trying to serve you (who will exist eternally) to get this clarity of our philosophy.

Whether you accept this service now or you want to wait longer, is upto you. Nevertheless, my service to other readers to highlight any misleading adulteration to Ramanuja darshanam (whenever I am aware of such errors) in this forum, will continue.

How about our Atma what structure he/she will be ? It’s has mind ?.From Govindan Narayanan

My understanding is that atma is stated to be too small of the size of an atom and the original form of atma is not defined. It takes the shape of the body in which it resides and many have experienced this. Experiencing atma is  called as atma sakshatkaaram. Some discussion had taken place on atma sakshatkaaram in the thread

https://www.kinchit.org/dharma-sandeha/thread/vaishnava-lakshanam-aatma-sakshatkaaram/

Atma has dharma bhoodha gyanam, which can be called as it’s mind.
