pls tell me whether panchasamskaram done for non brahmins. any food restrictions(hope it will be)but if a one person get panchasamskaram he cannot leave home and stay out of other for food etc. give a solution.

Mother-in-law of one of my friends belonging to Vaishnava Reddiar family had undergone Samasrayanam (etching Shanku & Chakram on the top shoulders) from a Jeeyar, I was told by him.  And, she does not take even Poondu or Vengayam whereas her other family members cook and eat non-veg items too.
