There are so many places with name Vaikunta. Like Badrinath in North and SriRangam in South is called Bhuloka Vaikuntam. Also there is a place called “SriVaikuntam” near AlwarThirunageri etc..These are all located inside the Bhulokam. Also there is Karya Vaikuntam called as “Santhanikam” or Vishnu Loka outside the Bhuloka but inside the same Andam on the top of Sathya Loka. This is where Sriman Narayana resides as SriVishnu for HIS leelai. These all are considered Matetialistic world (Leela Vibhoothi) which is on this of the Viraja Nadhi.

Varaja Nadhi separates the actual Spiritual World / SriVaikuntam (Suddha Satvam place) a.k.a Nithya Vibhoothi and the Material world (Leela Vibhoothi) a.k.a Mishra satvam place where all three rajo, tamo, satva mixed with karma and Prakritha pancha bootham exists.

That’s why in Karya Vaikuntam, the shabham to the two dwarapalakar happened due to which they were born on Earth three times as Hiranyakashibu/Hiranyakshan in Dsthya Yuga, then as Ravan/Kumbakarna in Treta Yuga , then as Shisupalan/Dantavakra in Dwapra Yuga to relinquish their shabam by opposing the Almighty Lord Sriman Narayana. All leela happens in this side of the Viraja Nadhi and nothing on the other side, due to Nithya Vibhoothi being Aprakritha Pancha Bhootam and no karmas.
