Naimittika Pralayam – Parkadal and Vishnu

Swamy namaskaram.

Naimittika Pralayam occurs at the end of a Kalpa when Brahma goes into sleep and first three worlds will be annihilated.

Since Parkadal is in Bhoolokam, Parkadal also will be annihilated. Where does Vishnu and Laxmi, residing in Parkadal, will be positioned till next creation.

There is one representative of Bhoodevi (Bhoodevi – residing in Sri Vaikuntam) for every bhoolokam of an andam. Since bhoolokam is annihilated, where does this representative of Bhoodevi, will be positioned till next creation.

Swamy,

Namaskaram.

Thank you very much for providing an enpani audio #3490 titled “ப்ரளயத்தில் பாற்கடல் பெருமான் எங்கு செல்வார்”.

Swamy, during Naimittika Pralayam, only first three worlds will be annihilated, remaining worlds (four upper worlds and seven lower worlds) will be existing alongwith their beings and adiyen hope, the living beings in these worlds will be active. When Parkadal Vishnu leaves for Sri Vaikuntam, who will control and govern these worlds.

Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha,

Within one Andam in material world, there are 14 lokas. 7 lokas below and 6 lokas above bhooloka. The Sathya loka the 7th loka on top of Andam, comprises of three sub-lokas Vishu loka, Brahma loka and Shiva loka. The main Thiruppaar kadal is in Vishnu loka. This is said in “Yathintra Mata Deepika and Vishnu Puranam Canto 2, Chapter 1-12”. There is a milky ocean and other oceans within bhoolokam in concentric layers, so we get confused as Thirupaarkadal (milky ocean) in bhooloka.

That’s why during Naimithika paralayam (12 hrs of Brahma), the three upper lokas bhoolokam, bhuvarlokam and suvarlokam are annihilated. So no impact to the actual Thirupaarkadal in the Sathya loka. Once Brahma’s 100 years is over, then the “Prakritha pralayam” (a.k.a Maha Pralayam) happens. This is when Sriman Narayanan does the ENTIRE cosmic dissolution. All the 14 worlds of one Andam, and countless such Andams each comprising of 14 worlds are all dissolved into the Moola Prakrithi, Finally into Sriman Narayanan Thirumeni, until HE decides to manifest the material world again.

There are few threads and few enpani audios on parkadal.

I have created a thread on “brahma-vishnu-and-siva-place-of-residence”. Based on Srimad Bhagavatam, I have given consolidated details on parkadal, Dhruva lokam, satya lokam, Vyuga murtis, residences of Brahma, Vishnu and Siva, in this thread. My understanding is that, in Srimad Bhagavatam, there is no mention of parkadal in satya lokam.

In the above mentioned enpani audio #3490 titled “ப்ரளயத்தில் பாற்கடல் பெருமான் எங்கு செல்வார்”, Velukkudi Krishnan swamy mentions, parkadal is in Bhoo lokam (‘பாற்கடல் பூலோகத்தில்தான் உள்ளது’). He further mentioned that Perumal resides in parkadal which is in Bhoo lokam and He is the Vyuga Vasudevan from Vaikuntam.

In enpani audio # 594, Velukkudi swami mentioned that Thiru Parkadal is in x plane of Bhulogam i.e., in the same plane as that of our earth.

The main Thiruppaar kadal is in Vishnu loka. This is said in “Yathintra Mata Deepika and Vishnu Puranam Canto 2, Chapter 1-12”. From ElayaAlwar

If any specific reference with sloka number indicating “main Thiruppaar kadal is in Vishnu loka”, kindly provide for clarification.

If Thirupparkadal is in Bhoolokam, then your question was, where will perumal go during Naimitthikka pralayam (after Brahma goes to sleep after his 12hrs). Didn’t you ask this question to Swami in the above thread after Swami answered in Enpani. So adiyen answered with Swamis ThiruvAdi Bhalam. Only three worlds will be annihilated. But rest of the 11 worlds still needs to be controlled which is done by SriVishnu by residing in Thirupaarkadal in Vishnu Loka that is inside sathyaloka. Reference for SriVishnu residing inside SathyaLoka is given by SriPerumbuthur Srimad Paramahamsethyadhi and Thiruvenkata Ramanuja Embar Jeeyar Swamigal in a poster called “Bhramandam” in 1873 in Telugu which was later translated to tamil on 20/01/11 . Below is the glimpse of the Sathya Loka description created by these Swamigal, which informs who resides in it. They used the base “Yathintra Mata Deepika and Vishnu Puranam Canto 2, Chapter 1-12” details to create the visual Brahmandam poster. I’m sure if you go to Tirupati, some Acharya Matam may have it. Thanks.
