If it is poor 108 Divya desam, Perumal Moolavar will advertise himself via videos. I have seen Moolavar even in podhigai channelFrom vikraminside

Adiyen listened to EnPani 398, and our Velukkudi Swami explains why taking pictures of Moolavar is prohibited.

So adiyen don’t think that Perumal will advertise Himself through photos. It’s always best to not take photos of Moolavar. 

For example, in Thiruvananthapuram, we haven’t seen the photo of Moolavar. In Kerala I have also heard that they won’t switch on the lights inside the Moolavar sannidhi. 

Our swami explains that all these restrictions will increase the desire and intimacy of us towards Perumal.

Different purposes, swami. The main purpose of the Statue of Equality in adiyen’s understanding is to pay tribute to Udayavar and also to highlight the importance of Udayavar to the public.

For the old and disabled people, Uthsavar plays a major role.

I have heard that the Moolavar also comes outside along with the Uthsavar when He travels the streets. So yaaraiyum Perumal vittuvekkala. Old people can still see the Uthsavar.

Adiyen not trying to say that the light inside the garbhagraham must be banned. No. But still, Perumal will look even more beautiful in the darkness with the lamp light alone.

As an additional fact, I have not come across any real pictures or footage of the Moolavar in Tirumala.

When we are watching the nail-biting suspense filled final over of world cup finals match between our favorite team and opposite time, with total suspense of what is going to unfold in the next few moments, where will our focus be?  In a hostel room like situation, there may be 100s of people watching simultaneously, everyone making noise; but our focus is steadfast on the match. We don’t even know who is sitting next to us, who is stepping on our shoulder etc.

Our focus on the match will be like Arjuna’s focus on the bird’s eye; all other elements (the sky, tree, branches, leaves, bird) the other students observed were all there; but Arjuna could focus only on the eye of the bird!

I wish I can have such focused devotion and attention upon Arangan,

Very true swami. I agree. In fact, there is no need to change the existing rules unnecessarily. As already stated by our Velukkudi Swami, such restrictions will increase our desire and intimacy towards Perumal. Also, adiyen think that such rules would also help people to realize that the temple is a very important place.

Swamy Kshamikavum! Adiyen didn’t take any video. I will include Amma in my prayers and Arngan will give a way to get darshan soon. Adiyen was reporting about general issues in srirangam sanctum . Look for some of us it’s ok and known issue but not vulnerable. Few of us feel this is an issue. Don’t how to react for the answer Sad or Sorrow or Ok or Don’t care or move on.
