Srimatey Ramanujaya Namaha,

When we do a bad karma, we acquire papam. Its not possible to say when we will experience that papam. It could be this birth itself or after 20 births or whenever. All we know is it gets accumulated to our karma bundle ( sanchita karma ).

Generally a portion of sanchita karma known as prarabdha karma is taken and that is assigned to a jivatma for a particular birth. The Jivatma when experiencing the prarabdha karma accumulates more karmas ( good and bad ) which again gets added to our account. In short, this is a never ending process unless we surrender to God. There is no way for us to come out of this unless we surrender to Bhagavan.

so lets surrender to Bhagavan and not worry about all this. Lets try to follow what he has said and not worry about these insignificant things.

As per adiyen’s knowledge from Velukkudi & others upanyasam,
Perumal waits for us to repent for mistakes in same lifetime, so he does not punish us immediately.
So, we have every chance of coming out of karma.
