Is it necessary that our Acharyan is currently living?

Shri Velukkudi Swamigalin Porpadhangalukku Adiyen Srinivasanin Aneka Koti Namaskaarangal

Swami. Adiyen don’t know if this question can be asked in this forum. Kindly forgive Adiyen if this question is not desired.

Adiyen consider Devarir as manasiga Acharyan of Visishtadvaita tradition. For that matter, Adiyen have Acharyans from all three traditions.

It is obvious that our Acharyan should be currently living to fulfill necessary requirements like Pancha Samskaaram, Mudhra Aaradhanam etc.

However, if we find that an Acharyan who already attained Jeeva Samadhi, given Darshan once and sparked the interest towards Brahma Jignyasah, without speaking a word but just by seeing through his divine eyes, there after vanished completely and not coming back even once when called or begged again. However, he gives answer for any question asked in spirituality when deeply prayed, through various signs, TV channels, Aanmiga magazines etc. Can this be treated as Acharya Sambandham and also connection with Purvacharya? Adiyen consider himself as my Acharyan and do kainkaryams to his idol daily, by pressing his feet, hands, chamaram veesuthal, Abishekam etc.

This may look like a personal question. However, many might have experienced such and may feel shy to reveal or ask about.

In this case, there is no direct Acharya Sambandham but an Acharyan himself takes control and guides in each and every step. Purvacharya Sambandham kidaithuvittadhaga eduthukkollalama? Or should this be achievable only through Kainkaryams to currently living Acharyas?

Adiyen request Devarir to clear Adiyen’s ignorance, only if giving an answer to this is comfortable without any trouble, in public forum.

Sarvam Shri Krishnaarpanamastu!
