Namaskaaram Swamy,

In Bhagiratha story, cause and effect not applied? Fore-fathers were not able to reach Mukthi. However, due to Bhagiratha’s efforts that involved bringing Ganges and performing rituals, several of his Fore-fathers attained Mukthi. Is this one among the many exceptions that we encounter in Puranas? Is this special case of curse and associated solution?

And Pithrus are at higher level; we are at receiving end; how come individuals here do good to those who are at better place..what is the need for it? How to understand ?

Please forgive my ignorance and kindly clarify.

Namaskaram Swami

Devarir stated, ” Pithrus are at higher level; we are at receiving end; how come individuals here do good to those who are at better place..what is the need for it? ”  Before stating further, it should be noted that far away from Satya Lokam( Brahma Lokam ) Sri Vaikuntam is situated wherein only Muktas, Nityas along with Divya Dampathis reside and which is Nityam with only Gunatith Shudha satva Anandam, Pithru lokam however, is well place, but not Gunatith.

The following answer is with reference to Tiruvaaymozhi Pramanam, Namazhwar in one of the “Pathu” states of Keezh, Mel, Emar , Yezh- Yezh Pirapum, i.e Moksham. To be precise it is said that in a family even if 1 Brahma Gyani takes birth, then 7 generations preceded to him, 7 generations with him and 7 succeeding to him, will attain Moksham. I hope this suffices
