Swami, Please tell us how to keep us safe from road accidents or any kind of mishap? These days I am scared of driving on the streets…

Always thinking of glories of Vasudeva Perumal, chanting His glories and thinking of His divine form within ones mind, it will automatically keep us safe from all such mishaps. Even when we are travelling, walking, eating etc, we can do smaranam of His form, attributes, glories in mind and that would be a great kavacham for us.
Even prahladan advises to asura-children that when we wake up in morning and say Hari 7 times, then it is guaranteed that nothing would happen to us during that day and we would be sage.
Even it is suggested to read so many different scriptures like Sundara Kandam, Vishnu Sahasrananam parayanam, Azhiyezha Thiruvaimozhi 7.4’s 10 pasurams etc etc all are great shields for us. There are so many available.

Say vanamali Gadhi shrangi sanki chakri chanandhaki Sriman narayano vishnur vasudevo abhirakshathu.. And start anywhere. Before leaving house.. Always chant rama rama rama. Because apadhapahartharam dhaathaaram sarvasampadha lokhabhiramam Sri ramam buho buho namamhyam.
Apadhapava hartharam.. He protects us from dangers.
Dhaatharam sarvasampatha.
He gives sarva sampath which is his unlimited kalyana gunams and Steals our hearts.
Lokhabhiramam
He is not just for Hindus.. He is lokhabhiramam he protects all the jivatmas and he is for everybody not particularly for one religion or caste.

Not only sita knows dharmam she is the perfect practitioner of dharmam.. Goddess of Chastity virtue patience Mercy compassion. This ram attracted the even most vairagyasri like sita. Mahalaksmi. With his gunams and beauty and with dharmam love.
Bhuyo bhuyo namahamyam. I again and again offer my respects namaskarams obeisances to such lord who protects the most fallen from all the dangers..
So when ever you are scared call rama or that gajendrazhwan.
Yamadharmaja doesn’t come near us if we chant lord hari.
If you don’t remember any of this. This is the most powerful which can protect us from samsara sagara.. Ocean of life! This mantram protects one from birth and death.
This mantra can even give vaikuntam, This mantram can relive us from the darkness called ajnanam.
Ramanujayathe namaha. Emperumanar thiruvadigale charam. Keep saying ramanuja ramanuja ramanuja acharyan thiruvadigale charanam. Ajnanathai ootuvabhavarku bayathaiyum Chinna idaiyurgalaiyum ootamudiyaadha.

Swamis very nice references! No doubt or offense against any of the slokams you’ve mentioned above. But for prappannas like us why do we need to explicitly ask for protection if we have surrendered ourselves fully and He has already told “Maashuchaka”?
