Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha
Srimathe Sri Varaha Mahadesikaya Namaha
Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy Thiruvadigaley Sharanam
Adiyen understand this audio as personality development.
In earlier audio, Swamy used to say “We don’t compare with high people, we usually compare with equals”. So, “stop comparing”.
Adiyen felt it very correct.
I don’t compare myself with Bill Gates
I don’t compare myself with Sriman Narayanan
Why compare with Kuppan & Suppan then?
Above was my understanding.
In this audio Swamy says,
“Compare with self earlier vs today” or “Compare with very high person & assess growth.
If this is the case, adiyen should compare myself with “Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy” & “assess growth”. Possible? Won’t others think it as jealousy?
Adiyen compare myself with role models
I like Bill Gates from childhood
I like Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy
So why not compare?
Adiyen see a very thin line of difference between “healthy competition” vs “Jealousy”.
Of course , human is judgemental, our mind itself is like that. It keeps on comparing things & signals to brain. Though we say “don’t be judgemental”
“Apporul mei porul kAnbadhu Arivu”
We do see who is telling because it has weightage.
“SoorpanakhA” praises SriRam
“Raavan” praising SriRam
Enemy praising is a great deal.
So we do see who is telling.
Lastly, KAnchi MahA PeriyavA on jealousy, “if you want rich of others take other bad karmic effect of others too”
Meaning, Panam venumna, vyAdhiyum serthu vAngiko.
So, adiyen understand, comparison with others not good.
Should we compare or not ?
How to condition our brain not to fall prey for jealousy?
