Namaskaram!
Respected Sri Velukkudi Swamy,
I am mentioning your name directly so that the issue gets resolved asap
There are many of us who can understand Tamil but can’t read/write it and when all the upanyasam/Youtube videos are all in tamil we won’t be able to know the title at all and on which topic Swamy is speaking about.
I did mention this in telegram/YT comments but the issue was not resolved
If we can get to know on what topics the upanyasam is we can set our schedules right
I kindly request you to do the needed
Ty!
Adiyen Ramanuja Dasan!

It is a good concern to all those who do not know or understand the language properly. However, it would be nice to hear to upanayasams on a regular basis as and when one finds time in order to get a good hold of the language , as the essence lies only in the  Moolam and it will definitely be missed in subtitles, because Tamizh is such a beautiful language and that too our Poorvacharyas Granthams are there only in Tamizh and Sanskrit, and only to an extent one can even translate it with exact Arthams in English or any other language. So, it is recommended to learn the Anadi  Language and most importantly to get the Golden Arthams of our Poorvacharyas.

P.S

Also this stage Adiyen to experienced and when prayed to the lord about to learn the language and get to know Poorvacharyas Vyakhyanams Artham, the plea was graced with the same in just few days time itself.

Ramanuja-Parakalan swamy, namaskaram. Srinivasa swamy is not asking for subtitiles for the upanyasam. (It will be a himalayan task to creat a translation and subtittle for our swamy’s upanyasams!)

Srinivasa swamy is just requesting that the title of the upanyasams be written in two languages, so that those of us who have not been fortunate to learn to read Tamil script can still know what the upanyasam file is about.

For example, if the enpani audio files are titled bilingually, it will be easy for everyone to know what it is about, and to search for a specific topic from the archive.

Srimate Ramanujaye Namaha!

Swami, having title in an unknown language is a blessing in disguise as it can create curiosity to hear the audio and not filter it based on title.

(it may be a bane in the sense that we would be motivated by interesting topics/titles.. so not able to read the title may be a challenge)

But it is better to hear all the audios regularly , it is already shortened to 10 mins a day.. we can play it while travelling, or cooking or  other tasks, 10 mins a day should be definitely be possible for almost all of us.

Adiyen
