Swami,

We all know ‘Dwajasthambam’ (along with Balipeetham) is an integral part of any Agamic temple.

However, in a few temples (like Singhaperumal Koil), adiyen also noticed a ‘stone pillar structure’ in addition to these two structures.

What is the significance of this structure?

My understanding was that Narasimhar’s ugram cannot be handled by the city so there is pillar in between.

Good question,my long time doubt.

Coincidentally adiyen’s parents went to this temple this morning, and they said Sri Narasimhar looked angry.

adiyen dasan.

Narasimha is angry on me because my mind is in sitrinbam & ignoring Perumal.
