cow protection in recent times

Srimate Raamnujaye Namaha,

Swami has explained about the challenges of having desi cows in these days in todays audio 2321.

As a start those of us who are fortunate to live near a place where cows are there, we can save our fruit and vegetable peels etc. and can feed the cows(either stray cows or in the place where we procure milk) .this can be a small act but when done in large numbers may help.

Ideally for a sustainable way, cows and farmlands were integrated , where cows feed on the agricultural waste or graze in empty lands and make the soil fertile by cow dung. Nowadays cows in cities need to be fed by fodder which is quiet expensive and makes it unsustainable.

another challenge faced is the costly and complex allopathc treatment for cows, heard that there are some good homeopathic remedies and doctors who have simple and cheap solutions for most problems.

Srimathe Rangaramanuja Mahadesikaya Namaha

A MIrACLE

Speaking about cows, 2 cows took Staircase and came to 2nd floor & even tried to go to 3rd floor Motta madi.

It was unusual. Cows were seemed to be afraid and not willing to go down. Two go palaka (shepherd) some how dragged them down

Can anyone tell the significance why cow 🐮🐄 came took Staircase & climbed?

I gave bananas by the way.

I have read that just before the 2004 Tsunami animals in the forest region in coastal Srilanka migrated en masse towards higher regions.

In another instance, some horses tied in the stable forcefully freed themselves and ran away; shortly after that there was an earth quake in that place.

I wonder if this strange behaviour of the cows could have a deeper significance.

Or else, they may have just climbed to have gopura darshanam of Thiruvallikeni Perumal.

Srimate Raamanujaye Namaha,

Swamy, yes we have seen many such circumstances where the daily audios have direct relevance to our day to day events.

From our perspective, we can take it as a reminder to take care of the cows daily or whenever possible to whatever extent we can so as to please Govinda.

From Cow’s perspective, may be it was hungry and in search of food. Or there could be other reasons as Kamban dasan swamy has indicated.

Srimate Raamaanujaaya Namaha!

Regarding cow protection adiyen wanted to clarify a lot of things actually.

For example, I happened to visit a farm owned by a family member who makes money by selling milk from the cows, almost a year ago. Swami mentioned about  ‘artificial insemination’ in the Enpani audio. To elucidate further about that term, it’s a very cruel process used to impregnate the cow.

And due to the commercialization of the farm, I also came to know that they do this process. The way they treated the cows were also not acceptable by me.

I also heard after 2 months that a cow gave 2 baby calves. One was a male and another was a female. But since the male calf would not be beneficial to their business, they sold it. (And by the way where will it go? Probably to the slaughterhouse?)  Adiyen was very much disappointed. This is not only happening in one farm, but in almost all of the commercial farms. The question is, how do we make these people realise their mistake?

Also secondly as far as possible, whenever we visit a temple, there happens to be a lot of stray cows outside the temple. So me, my mother and father buy bananas and feed the cows. I am certain that this is not enough, because there is no guarantee that the cows would be fully protected.

Apparently there is a cow protection farm called “Manavala Mamunigal Aa Nirai koodam”. So we are planning to hopefully visit this place and give some fruits and vegetables to the cows there. But regarding protecting other helpless cows, how are we going to do it?

Cows must be linked to farms to be sustaianable..in which case they will not sell the cows. Cows must be used for agriculture primarily and milk should be taken as by product only. If they rear cows for milk as the main goal, it will become economically unsustainable.

Also in addition some people are using Cow dung and Gomutra to make some herbal products like nasal drops, soaps, agarbathi etc. Such steps can also help the cow owners to make them financially stronger in which case they will not be forced to follow current practices.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztEMObtl2Cg is a webinar where the speaker  explains how he has managed to run a cow farm economically without depending on sale of milk.

Thank you for sharing the YouTube video, swami. Adiyen will look into it. It is interesting how devareer sends videos which has less number of views, but at the same time has useful content in it.

How to prevent ” Probably to the slaughterhouse?”. Pavam cow enna pannum? What does law say? How to save them?

What does law say? Which law? Manu’s law or Constitution law? Judicial law?

The fact of national economy is, india is the leading exporter of b*** in the world.

We are part of it.
