Is there any such ways to manage mosquitoes at home in a sattvic manner. It disturbs a lot. Mosquitoe repellents are not effective and smells.

Namaskaram, we place karpuram – as a piece or powdered in the corners, mosquitoes won’t come for the karpuram smell. To adiyen’s knowledge, it doesn’t kill but just keeps them away. This has been very effective. Another option is placing a half cut lemon with or without cloves on it. Smell of lemon also keeps mosquitoes away but to be mindful if anyone at home have allergy or are easy to catch cold with citric smell.

In fact, we have tried both and found to be ineffective. Probably, because we have kept at the corners of the room. I will try keeping karpuram closer to me.
