Can I attain moksha earlier?

Is there any way (or shloka ) for attaining moksham earlier (after sharanagathi ) by which we can destroy our present janma karma ( Prarabdha karma if I am right )?

Adiyen also heard that even Azhvar had to wait for moksha. But just to know if there is any way or does it depend on his will alone.
Since I am his porul am I allowed to request bhagavan to change his will?

Dear Ram BhagavAta,

 

 

Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami Arulalum, Asmadh Acharyan Krupaiyalum, UdayavAr Katakshatthaalum, Adiyen would like to share Swami’s “Sharanagathy” upanyasam details related to this topic. Please listen to Swami’s lucid explanation.

 

In general, Sharanagathy is done by a Sharanagathan (Seeker) to a Sharanyan (Seekable Person). Depending up on who is Sharanyan, sometimes the sharanagathy works out, sometimes it is a failure.

 

Sharanyan needs Two Primary gunas “Ultimate Soulabhyam” & Ultimate Parathvam

Soulabhyam : Means Elimai/Karunai. Guna that is needed so that the person is seekable/Approachable (easy Access).

Parathvam: Means Valimai,Perumai, Meinmai. Guna that is needed to execute the post sharanagathy.

 

Hence, For getting Moksham (Sri Vaikuntam), the sharnagathy can be done only to Sriman NarayanAn (Sharanyan) due to Perumal’s these two Primary Gunas, which Devatas like Brahma/Shiva etc DOESN”t have it…or anyone else DOESN”t  have it.

 

There are two types of Sharanagthy in Srimadh Ramayanam, Both were successful, since it was done on Sharanyan SriRama’s Lotus Feet who had the above two Primary gunas, but there is a “Catch factor”, one yielded result Immediately and another sharanagathy yielded result at a later time.

 

1) Sri Lakshmanan’s Sharanagathy on SriRama’s lotus feet to go along with SriRama during the exile “Seeking kainkaryam” was immediately successful.

2) Bharatha Azhwan’s Sharanagathy on Sri Rama’s lotus feet asking SriRama to come back to Ayodhya was NOT successful immediately, and it was Successful only after 14 Years.

 

So, the “CATCH FACTOR” between these two situations is “Sharanya Hrudhaya Anusariyaga Irukka vaendum” சரண்ய ஹ்ருதய அனுசரியாக இருக்க வேண்டும் .

Means, after Sharangathy, it will depend up on “BhagavAn’s WISH”, at what time to give Moksham to each.

 

Like in Bharatha Azhwan’s case, SriRama’s agenda was to first full fill “Thandhai Soll, then to execute Devas Sharanagathy first” by going to Forest, so Sita Piratti could go to Lanka and then SriRama can war with Ravan and release the Deva Sthrees. So it took 14 years for Bharatha Azhwan’s Sharanagathy to be successful (Delayed 14 yrs but successful), due to SriRama’s WISH (Sankalpam) is Priority.

 

Since, we all are Swami Ramanujar’s ThiruvAdi SAMBHANDHIS through Asmadh Acharyan lotus feet with Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swami’s Anugraham, BhagavAn SriRama (NamPerumal) has said in “Sharanagathy Gadhyam” that SriRama-SitaPiratti will deliver Moksham (Peru Veedu) to ALL Swami Ramanuja Sambhandhis in Same Janma.  It could happen at any moment, today or tomorrow or within our human life span of 120yrs in this yuga, but definitely in this Janma depending up on சரண்ய (Perumal’s) ஹ்ருதய சங்கல்பம் .

 

Hence, till we get Moksham in this Janma, we have to continue our JeevAthma Swaroopam which is nothing but to do “BhagavAt, BhagavAta, Acharya Kainkaryams” for Swami Ramanujar’s ThiruMugha Malartthi.

Thank you very much bhakta. Enjoyed reading bhakta’s answer. Adiyen also wants to hear more about sharanya hrudaya sankalpam. Pl provide if bhakta knows any link or topic of swami’s upanyasam.

And one small doubt bhaktha. So the time depends only on bhagavan’s will or does it depend on prarabdha karma as well. Will bhagavan give moksha even before our prarabdha karma balance becomes zero if he wishes. In other words does his sankalpam depend on his wish only or depending on prarabdha karma as well.

Acharya Krupaiyaal, Swami Arulal, here are some things adiyen would like to share from Swami’s Enpani and upanyasams.

 

When we utilize our Jeeva Swathantriyan and do Sharanagathy through Acharyan’s Lotus Feet, Perumal Erases completely the “Sanchita Karmas” (Unlimited Bag of our Karmas stored in Perumal’s ThiruUllam), then we are left over only with the Prarabtha karma of this Janma (the bag that was given to us to relinquish).

However this Prarabtha karma is also never ending process, since every action we do, ends up in accumulating either paapa karma or punya karma. In the name of relinquishing karmas, in every Janma we Keep accumulate karmas. Swami beautifully says in “Yen Piranthen” upanyasam, about our karmas. Swami says, this is like a frog stuck inside a well, jumps 2 inches high and falls 3 inches backwards. The frog will never come out of the well, means the BhaddAthma will never come of the Samsaram with its own effort as the JeevAthma can never cancel out its paapa karma and punya karma to Zero.

 

So, reaching Moksham ALWAYS depends up on BhagavAn’s WILL at all the time. That’s why UPAYAM (Route) & UPEYAM (Destination) BOTH are always BHagavAn’s ThiruvAdi, which is nothing but the lineage of Alwars/GuruParamparai Acharyas in HIS Lotus feet. Hence, for a Sharanagathan based on our Acharyan ThiruMugha Malartthi (Acharyan Swami’s Abhimaanam), Perumal cuts off our Karmas and takes to Sri Vaikuntam, when Acharyan Says to Swami Ramanujar that this Sharanagathan is Namma Payal (நம்ம பயல்).

Sri Velukkudi Swami Beautifully says in “Acharya Abhimaanamey Uddharakam” upanyasam and “Anthimopaya Nishtai” upanyasam. Acharyan in Sampradhayam means, JagadhAcharyar Swami Ramanujar. The final step for Moksham is Swami Ramanujar’s Abhimaanam.

 

Like,

1) Upasana Maargam (Our Effort to reach of Perumal’s lotus feet directly) has 3 steps Karma yogam many janmas, then Gyana yogam many janmas, then Bhakthi yogam many janmas, and will yield results in some janma depending up on our Nishtai and Bhakthi. If something goes wrong in any janma, we have to start over, or follow different margham as,

 

2) Sharanagathy maargam (a.k.a ‘Athma Nivedhanam’, catching hold of Perumal’s feet directly bypassing Alwars/Acharyas), which will yield results any time this janma or in some janma, depending up how much Nishtai we have on the 5 Post rules of Sharanagathy, or start over again, or follow different margham as,

 

3) Acharya Abhimaana maargam (Relying on Acharyas Krupai to reach of Perumal’s lotus feet), which will yield results any time in this janma  due to Acharya Ramanujar’s ‘NirHedhukai Krupai’ (Causeless Mercy), since Perumal is not giving us Moksham looking at our never-ending Karmas. So, we all sharanagathas show Grattitude (க்ரிதக்ஞதை) to Swami Ramanujar ThiruvAdi by doing BhagavAt, BhagavAta, Acharya Kainkaryams rest of the life, which is actually our JeevAthma Swaroopam (Sheshatvam and Parathanthriyam). Due to Acharya Abhimaanam, Acharyan blesses us to follow all the Sharanagthy 5 post rules as a Kainkaryam to SriRama.

 

So Upasana margham has 3 sub marghams as Karma, Gyana and Bhakthi yoga maarghams, or follow the 4th maargham called as Sharanagathy maargham, or follow the 5th maargham called as “Panchoupaya maargham” which is the last resort to reach Moksham for Nithya Kainkaryam. Hence this is also called as “Anthimopaya Nishtai” or called as “Acharya Abhimaanamaey Uddharakam“, which is what will get us to Moksham ‘SriVaikuntam’ for NithyaKainkaryam.

 

So, Ramanuja Dasas never focus or worry about  the never-ending Karmas, instead the focus is only on Sneha Poorva BhagavAt, BhagavAta, Acharya Kainkaryams, and BhagavAn SriRama-Sita Piratti delivers us Moksham based on Acharyan’s recommendation through Swami Ramanujar ThiruvAdi via Alwars Anugraham.

 

Sri Velukkudi Swami has hinted in the latest Enpani #1212 about the Anthimopaya Nishtai (Acharya Abhimanamey Udharakam).

 

Asmadh Acharyan ThiruvAdi moolamaaga, Nammai Swami Ramanujar ThiruaAdiyil Seartthu vitta Sri VelukkudI Krishnan Swami Abhimaanamey Uddharakam.
