This also varies from Acharya to acharya. and also on the sincerity of the disciple.

If the disciple is sincere, Krishna will inpisre the Acharya to know about the disciple’s weakness or struggles. but if the disciple wants to remain attached (intention vs external behaviour), Krishna will not inspire the acharya to know the same.

But even if they don’t know the specific problems, those who follow their instructions to the TEE..ie with utmost shraddha and devotion, will eventually overcome those obstacles, even without identifying them like a broad spectrum antibiotic or rather a powerful immune booster which can drive away all germs even before we need to identify them.

I thanked enpanifan swamy for his response, but not closed the thread from my side. Though he has provided his views, you can come up with your views also. I am still expecting more response.

This I have posted based on my previous experience in other spiritual institute. I understood, Reiki practitioners are able to see the chakras. Then, why not Acharyas. Since, we are revering them great, I wanted to know the spiritual powers of them, whatever be it can be mentioned. I know many of the Acharyas may not exhibit them openly to the world.

I do not intend to ask about siddhis acquired for material benefits.

e.g., it is said that at the time of initiation of pancha karma, huge amount of karmas are nullified. Is it done by Acharya through some spiritual power or Perumal’s work due to Acharya’s prayer to Perumal. If Acharya does through some power, is it not necessary to look at the chakras.

I mean spiritual powers only. Or Acharya’s are not provided with any such power and work is accomplished through the prayer to Perumal only.

My understanding of this is, since acharyas are setting the example for us how to depend on Perumal completely, with full awareness that He is the controller, He is the maintainer and He is all powerful personality, the Vaishnava acharyas do not display explicit powers. They are aware of and they want us to be aware of the fact that everything is accmplished by Perumal only.

However, in some instances we have examples of vaishnava acharyas displaying such powers in service to Perumal. I have heard some stories about such events in SriRangam. (don’t remember the full details now). Once one acharya used powers to control the flood and stabilise the boat NamPerumal was taken in. And another instance of using powers to put out fire near Perumal. (memory is really vague. I am sorry).
