சூரிய கிரகணம் போது பிடிக்கும் நேரத்திலும், சந்திர கிரகணம் போது விடும் நேரத்திலும் தர்பணம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று விதிமுறை உள்ளதே. அது எதனால்?
சூரிய, சந்திர கிரகண காலத்தின் தர்பண காலத்தின் மாற்றம் ஏன்?

I don’t know the exact answer but i am thinking along the following lines..
- Sun is the primary source of driving away negative forces and purifying earth and other planets.
- Sun is the primary source of energy and food for all planets.
So during eclipse the sun’s rays are blocked.. so purity is lost and negative forces predominate. also source of energy and food is cut off.
So to provide energy , food and protection by positive energy to pitrus, it is recommended.. perhaps..
But not sure, lets hear from Swami’s audio.
